You're right, I should have called that out. I think 25 yards is hard enough, and most people can "reach" out that far.

I think it is awesome to get to shoot at something and learn something at the same time!! Great Idea!!! We're supposed to get some snow starting tomorrow, so this will slow things a bit, but I will definitely be giving this a "shot" ASAP. Again, great target!

I agree with @woogie_man that you should slow your pellets down. I shoot my H&N Baracudas at about 875FPS and get great results out to 100. If I crank them up to even 915FPS, they will start spiraling when I get out past 50 yards. This sounds really familiar with what you are experiencing...

The more you prepare, the more competitive you will be. I took my 13YO son to RMAC two years ago, and the experience you get is invaluable...especially the first year as you understand the process better. Don't expect to sit on the podium on your first try, and I would shoot in everything...
