Crossing fingers, reprinted some parts in the shroud, and reassembled it. Reset the striker. Filled with air, to 250 bar, and filled the magazine. At least with 17.6gr Norma's, the sound is subdued indoors. No, not mouse fart quiet, but honestly, pretty good. It will be fine outdoors. A...

You are having about as much fun as I am. After shooting 19 rounds successfully yesterday, (after resetting the striker) I took a shot today (dry fire) and I'm back to an air dump. Beats me why I've getting these dumps right now. Maybe something got damaged. Not sure why, everything was...

Never mind, found one of Kelly's videos - in the comment section, he mentioned about pulling the trigger AND then resetting the striker. All is good now. CF shroud replacing stock non functional shroud. Works pretty well, pretty quiet, well worth doing! Took me two days to do. A day for...

How do you reset the striker properly? I thought I did it correctly, but when airing up at about 100 bar, I hear a clunk. Then I just get an air dump when pulling the trigger. I'm apparently not a quick study, as I've tried this three times in a row. Is there a trick to it? Of...

Huben All Things HUBEN GK1 (air pistol) - Master Thread

Savagefox appears to be disgruntled. Buyer's remorse? The GK1 has a couple flaws, but overall, I'd rate it as quite good. It can be adjusted to very decent power, I'm shooting 28 grain slugs in my 22 around 38 FPE. It will adjust quite a bit higher, and much, much lower. Loading can be a...

Don't pollute a good thread. We already know your opinion on the GK1.

    Crosman Crosman 1322

Be aware that continual "excess" pumping will tend to wear the pump arm. Typically, the pivot hole enlarges. But if it's only occasional visits to 14 it shouldn't wear excessively. 20 pumps is asking for trouble, especially if done a lot. I've flat topped both my 1322 and 1377. It's a good mod.

Good sir, this is conjecture on your part. My micrometers don't lie. You are ignoring tolerance in manufacturing, which you should know all about. I have zero issues with firing NOE 217 slugs with a 0.2205" drive band. No jamming, no looseness at around 38 FPE. I simply do not have an issue...

I just recently watched the videos on GK1 disassembly. I can see how the process would be intimidating to a person who isn't mechanically inclined. Actually, I'd say a lot of people wouldn't want to casually disassemble it. I'll take mine apart at some time, but at the moment there's no need...

How important is perfect level your scope to your gun?

Interesting discussion on this. My take on levels comes from a machining perspective. A carpenter's level has a sensitivity of 0.250"/foot. I'd bet the vials used on gun levels are at this point, maybe. Torpedo levels have the same vials. A Starrett 98 series level sensitivity of...

    New AEA SLUGS

A melting pot and a ladle. I find the bottom pour pots leak, or tend to clog. Get some pure lead and a stout stick to knock off the sprue. Don't wear synthetic fabric while casting. It will melt or burn if lead splashes on it. Jeans or cotton is fine. Some folks wear gloves, I don't...

Thanks for checking. I'll go back there and search some more. Maybe I was confused by something on the website. Ahh, now I remember, 90's were easy to find. It was the NBR80's that were rare. Never found NBR80's for my probe. The point of my original post, was a request for a table of...

I found some probe o-rings at McMaster in NBR90, but there's not much of a choice in metric. I checked Capt O-ring and the O-ring store. Not much in NBR90, at least that I could find.

@Ezana4CE Is there an equivalent list of o-rings for the GK1 as in the K1 thread? Haven't found many suppliers that sell NBR90's.

Who makes the aluminum red dot mount? Think I missed that. Is it an RMR style mount?

What pistol did you shoot today

Interesting that you decreased compression. I went the other way and used epoxy on the end of the piston to increase compression. Once the epoxy cured, I machined it to fill the bore when at maximum stroke. Also machined a Crosman 0.22 barrel to fit the P-17. Used Wyoman's basic drawings to...

Definitely have to lubricate the o-ring. Try again tomorrow, it will probably go better for you.

    O-ring woes

Push one side down to the groove and use a 2mm rod or toothpick to hold it in, and somehow push the other end in? What have you tried?
