March main body is 4mm thick, so that will just slow it down some. I just got a High Master and it's already heading back for an exchange. They scratched the hell out of the inner walls installing the internals.
Why not just store the compressor in the house, bring it out to the garage and fire it up while it still warm. Even your standard shop compressors don't like starting up in cold weather with straight weight oil.
There was a discussion somewhere on here, but I believe no one tried that. If anything, everyone mocked that idea... Just an idea, let the compressor warm up in the house and then bring it back to the garage and see what happens.
