Greg, I've had them both and I ASSURE you they ain't the same!! The triggers on the old ones are much better for one thing. I had them both and got rid of the Air force one as fast as I could as it didn't do anything as well as the old one, not trying to be argumentative just saying what my...
I believe you are correct about barrel tuners having a place on airguns as I have seen what they can do for a rimfire rifle BUT, my personal experence with them has prooved to be inconclusive at best. Last winter I purchased a Harrels tuner for my RAW benchrest gun that I use for indoor...
I live about twenty min. south of Pittsburgh but shoot mainly in Ohio as it has five airgun clubs. Nothing much going on in S.W. Pa. that I know of but some ten meter shooting. J,L.
I have to aggree with you there NOMOJO!! When the first came out they were awesome!! large heads and shot great! As time went on they got much more inconsistant for sure. My RAW with the Poly barrel shoots the old monsters better @ 25 yards for Indoor benchrest but at 50/55 yards outdoors...
Greg, just make sure he understands you don't want the new "Air Force RAW or what ever they call it now!! Believe me they "Ain't The Same Animal" Ive had them both!! And I still have the Old (REAL one) !! NOT the new one from Air Force. NO comparison!! You want the TM1000 model J.L.
Wow Tim!! Very nice!! I just made some mods to one of those under the bed plastic storage boxes dividing it into two halves. One side for the stands and the other for the flags. Not fancy like yours but should protect them pretty well. Nice work!! I bought the same ones from Ray. J.L.
I just bought a set of the dual vane flags from Ray, Very high quality product and he was great to deal with! I also bought a set of his adjustable tops for the tripods to level the flags on uneven ground, They are top quality also!!
Shot along side of him a few times when shooting in Rochester and Binghamton in the past few years and he couldn't have been nicer as is his son Ray. Sorry to hear and may he rest in piece. He will be missed by all that crossed his path. J.L.
A freind of mine bought a used regulated .177 one this summer and it has become his favorite air rifle, and he has had MANY!!! P.O.I. never changes and it's super accurate! He shot his highest Feild Target score 56/60 so far with it. J.L.
Another posibility is to lower your butt plate if it's adjustable? in affect that raised the rear of the rifle but seeing as you said you shoot without contact that wont help. Just a thought. J,L.
