    RAW Microhunter Airstripper tuning

I sent my RAW Micro Hunter back to Air Force for warranty service because of poor accuracy (see my other posts). I was shooting 8.4 gr pellets consistently but just over 800 fps. I received the gun back from them. They replaced the barrel and rebuilt the regulator. It now shoots 8.4 gr...

Aesthetics: excluding wood furnitured guns, 1 to 5 how much do they impact your purchasing decisions?

Testicle(tactical) rifles? Meh! They are a tool that shoots projectiles. While I have some of both, I appreciate a gun with a nicely figured walnut stock quite a bit. Plywood (laminate) stocks aren't bad but I prefer something that God made in one piece to enjoy the beauty. Accuracy trumps...

    177 pellets and older fingers

I'm 84 and 10 of my 17 air rifles are .177 caliber. I shoot them a lot especially now that winter is coming. Yes, loading is becoming a little more challenging and I keep a broom handy to sweep up all the pellets I drop on the floor.

Daystate Uhh ooo did I make a mistake? Regulated vs non

My unregulated Revere shoots great and gets a lot of shots per fill. Accuracy is great throughout the pressure range. The hammer system in these rifles makes them work about as good as the regulated ones. Further, I don't like using a probe to fill the gun which is what the regulated model...

    Only 3 weeks,hooked

You couldn't have made a better choice. The Daystate is an heirloom rifle IMO. For a scope, the Athlon Heras is a great product, head and shoulders over the cheap stuff out there. Great optics and it's parallax adjustment goes down to 10 yards which you need for what you are doing. I...

    PCP Compressor...your reviews

Yong Heng is a great compressor. It isn't perfect and may fail if abused and let get too hot, but repair parts are cheap and they are easy to fix. I've had mine for 4 years and have had to replace the piston once because the 2nd stage brass piston was defective and one of the lands separating...

    Air Arms TX200 .177 custom spring ?

Springs are relatively cheap and the TX is easy to work on to change them. Vortek's website shows that you can buy any spring design you designate. Buy a couple of them and see what happens.

FX FX Impact vs DRS vs King Question

As far as I can determine, most any FX rifle of any Mark number is capable of fine accuracy and able to produce enough power to get the job done. If you want a gun for pesting, I believe that a Crown with a wood stock or a Wildcat would be more applicable than a tactical style rifle like the...

Do you ever get fed up with Airguns?

I only dislike the fact that I don't have room in my backyard to shoot and I have to pack up my van and drive to the range. Fortunately, I do have 10M in my basement to get me through the winter doldrums.
