Can't argue with that. I shied away from that one because the Donny design seems shorter and I was concerned for keeping things in alignment. The longer design gave me more confidence that it wouldn't skew. But if the Donny's working, like I said, can't argue with that.

Mine came from Tim with the "striptease" T shaped air stripper. So obnoxious to shoot with that thing on there! Mine didn't last long before I removed it. It was held on with some sort of epoxy-heat gun broke the bond and it came right off. Left a sort of gummy residue that I needed to clean...

I ordered mine with an extra barrel back in 2017-18 when I first got it. That extra barrel is a .22. I experimented with it but it's been years now. 28fpe is coming to mind, and that required lots more hammer weight, via bolts threaded into the hammer.

Interesting that this thread got revived right now as I've got a .20 barrel being delivered tomorrow that I'm going to fit to my USFT. The plan being to cut the barrel back so barrel+moderator end at the airtube. Funny thing is that I owned this barrel once before. It was in the Air Force...

As far as I know, just shifts in how they were made. Remember that the USFT is essentially bespoke, almost handmade in some regards, and the first batch WAS truly handmade. From what I can gather, they were mostly made in small machining batches. Kinda like Timmy Mac would get enough preorders...

Just a guess but almost looks like your cleaning agent is causing corrosion. They look pitted, like rust can do. Or even the effect strong acids can have on materials susceptible to a particular acid.

Yep, that sounds a whole lot like every field target match I've ever shot. Working out and KNOWING where your gun shoots at x yards beforehand being an unfair advantage is a strange concept to me.

Help me understand your view Scott....if he shoots at paper at home at those distances it's practice, but if he shoots at field targets at home at those distances it's unfair advantage? Now, if Ron only sent the distances of the targets to Rudy before hand....but Ron said he posts them...
