Yours has a short little section of rail! I see what you mean now. Most that I've seen had more pic slots than that.

Never had reason to take my pic rail off but it appears to be simply bolted down to the breech block. A section of pic with sufficient backbone and holes drilled in the correct places would be all that's required. Probably be easier to use a riser or higher scope rings if I'm understanding your...

It looks much more similar to the eBay one in this photo than I'm the photos on the Donny website represent.

Can't argue with that. I shied away from that one because the Donny design seems shorter and I was concerned for keeping things in alignment. The longer design gave me more confidence that it wouldn't skew. But if the Donny's working, like I said, can't argue with that.

I ordered mine with an extra barrel back in 2017-18 when I first got it. That extra barrel is a .22. I experimented with it but it's been years now. 28fpe is coming to mind, and that required lots more hammer weight, via bolts threaded into the hammer.
