    Centerfire v. Air…

I discovered pcp air rifles about 16 years ago and became addicted. Previously I have a really nice collection of center fire rifles. I sold most of them to afford the pcp airguns that now had a grip on me.😂 I kept a few firearms as well but I have to say that they rarely see the outside of the...

    Buy once, cry once.

I actually like the concept of “buy once, cry once”. However, when it applies to a rifle like the Impact and a brand new shooter there should be a few caveats employed. I’ve actually never recommended an Impact as a first rifle. I do have a friend though that did indeed buy an Impact as his very...

What is the best rifle to shoot in a garage?

A couple posts have stated that rifles don’t present much of a challenge at ten yards. I‘m quite sure that if you start down the path of the ten meter shooting discipline you will find plenty of challenge. You don’t need a fancy expensive air rifle. I have a lot of fun with my Beeman AR2078B...

What is the best rifle to shoot in a garage?

I shoot my FWB 601 in my garage several times each week. It’s a great 10 meter rifle and I have just about that distance across my garage. Kenny

N/A First PCP - FX Impact M4 or Skout EVO?

Depending on your use the Panthera may still be a great option. I built up a fantastic Panthera for hunting and long range target shooting. I started with a Panthera .22 600mm. I added the front bottle adapter and 480cc bottle out front along with an arca rail to protect the bottle and provide...

    FX fx mk2

I recently sold an Impact MK2 .22 700mm for $1250. It also had a second liner and some really nice K&L upgraded parts so that made it worth a bit more. Kenny

Got too excited over prymaidair 20% off code.

I tried that too. I added a few JSB to the cart and thought I'd give it a try. Just like you though... no dice. Was worth a try just in case. :)

HW/Weihrauch Question for HW30 shooters (particularly if they also shoot an HW97)

The HW97 is likely to shoot better at 50 yards simple because it has more velocity and the pellet will be less affected by atmospheric conditions. It is also a much heavier rifle and will sit well into your bench bags and not move as much when shot. I have both the HW30s and the HW97k and I...

Events Who are you calling an old timer??

Thanks guys. That is a very simple answer for my curiosity.😀 Kenny

Events Who are you calling an old timer??

Congratulations. I do have a question. Why does a medal for a Field Target event have an image of a guy shooting a shotgun? I was just curious. Kenny

    FX New panthera gun HELP!!!

Yep. Sounds like a bad oring on the reg adjustment screw. I had that happen to my Impact after several years of use. Wasn’t that bad of a job to replace the orings. If yours is new though and under warranty might as well send it back. Don’t be discouraged though. The Panthera is an awesome...

I use a cardboard box stuffed tightly with old clothing. Works great and lasts a very long time. It‘s very quiet too. Kenny

    N/A New Member here

Welcome to the family. While I don't have that particular rifle I do find that most of my .22 rifles have done very well with either the JSB 15.89 or the JSB 18.13 pellets. Hope that helps to get you started in your pellet testing. Kenny

Air Venturi Opinions on a more accurate alternative to the AvengeX

It also has a regulator that you would have to deal with. Probably best to just purchase from Airgun Revisions if you want the higher power Challenger.

When the fifth shot finally goes into a group like that my heart just warms a little bit more. That‘s really nice shooting. Kenny

FX Time to decide, either FX Dynamic 22/500 or FX Crown 22/500

I have both. Well actually I have a Panthera and not a Dynamic but they are basically the same. I absolutely love my Crown MK2's. I have two of them. However, I much prefer the tuning ability on the Panthera. The only real drawback to the Crown is that you have to remove the stock to make the...

    EDgun EDgun Matador slight leak.

What a timely post. I also have an Edgun Matador that I discovered was empty after sitting unused in my safe for a while. Mine is the earlier R2.5. I had not used it much in the last several years. I’ll be watching this thread to hopefully piggyback on the advice that you receive. Thanks for...

    I dun been robbed!

One of the properties where I shoot ground squirrels has several hawks that have learned to sit nearby and watch for squirrels getting shot. Those hawks fly in very quickly and snatch the dead squirrels. Sometimes they even squabble of who gets the meal. Kenny
