Benjamin All Things BENJAMIN BULLDOG - Master Thread

What height scope rings is everyone using. I've been using "mid" height rings in an effort to keep the scope closer to the bore but it's not optimal . Tired of the awkward cheek weld and neck twisting to get a clean sight picture.

Min fps for reliable slug expansion in .357

The Costom lead solutions fireball shoots very accurately out of my Bulldog and the controlled expansion are a great balance between penetration and expansion. He also makes a " soft" fireball that expands at lower velocity , great potential for lighter bodied game like coyote.

    Ammo Recommendation Benjamin .357

I tried the H&Ns in my Bulldog with dismal results. After my barrel was slugged it was a try .357 & the sampling of H&N were .356. Griffinairguns.com ldc slugs shoot very well out of my Bulldog . Any of the true .357 will shoot better than the H&Ns .

    Benjamin Bulldog Power Upgrade?

That stock on the Taurus BP! How hard would it be to install on the Bulldozer? Looks like the cheek weld and eye relief are improved.

Most reliable Big Bore?? Long Term Use

Well. I would disagree about them not being out on hunting trips. This year's Pork Slam at Ted Nugents ranch saw a lot of animals harvested with AEA rifles, last year and the year before as well...

Gear bags, Go bags, how do you drag yor crap around?

Wow! That's a lot! What predators are you going after ? For me the truck is usually less than a half mile away and stands rarely last more than 30 minutes ( coyote) so batteries and water, snacks etc. Stay with the truck. Although I do take the 3 legged camp stool a lot...

Gear bags, Go bags, how do you drag yor crap around?

I'm not a range shooter, I predator hunt. Big bore. Beyond my c/f tank. I carry anmo, shooting sticks, range finder, assorted hand calls and a electric caller with remote. Other than the shooting sticks . I pack my gear in a medium sized chest pack. What do you use to drag your stuff around...

Most reliable Big Bore?? Long Term Use

I've had the "baby brother " or "Taurus lite" the Veradium Air Bulldozer for 5ish years now, and I hunt predator with it pretty much every weekend. I'm getting around 950fps ( depending on where I'm at on the bell) with 145gr slugs and 2 inch groups at 100yds. The gun is capable of better...

    Cancer in the airgun world

There seems to be a trend in the airgun communities in both the online forums and on Facebook. Toxic slanderous comments about this builder or that smith. And there are people who are very young and inexperienced leading the charge to smear this person or that person's name/ business without...
