Sounds like a shim might have gone missing somehow. I would be doing some measuring. You should be able to see a slight gap on both sides of the breech block. There is a procedure to removing/replacing the breech bolt on a Theoben...

A 95 is the same as a 50/99. But the HW30's are the easiest. Two pins for the trigger and push against the workbench to relieve pressure on the retaining screw holding the back block.

Shims aren't shown on my Theoben parts diagram. But they do have them........... What was I thinking? :rolleyes:

Theobens don’t have shims that I know of. Mine don’t The only gun I have with a Bellevue washer is my FWB124 Weirdrock uses flat shim washers. Not a problem for most people. Snug it up so it doesn’t free fall and no more when cocked. Don’t fiddle around and “trigger” it when it’s cocked o_O

Make your own cleanup tool by heating the end of needle file red hot and bending the tip to make it curved. Works very well. Doesn't seem to affect the hardness of the hard chrome teeth.
