    Indoor Target Backstop?

The only sound is the pellet/slug ripping through the cardboard- not much at all.

    Indoor Target Backstop?

Yes, and the cost is a box of correct size, and shredded rubber mulch from home depot, think $6 a bag. Only downside is you will need to relayer the sides of the box as it gets shredded.

    Indoor Target Backstop?

Cardboard box filled with rubber mulch, at least 10” thick, 12” best. Shoot whatever you want as powerful as you want. It’ll stop the projectile

Unfortunately I’m totally tapped out, I’m trying to stack funds for thanksgiving/ black Friday sales. That’s when I’m always broke.

Taipan 25 Caliber Taipan Vet 2 Standard

Well , yeah. The vet 2 tactical with a 700mm barrel can push the 34g pellet real fast. I added just a heavy hammer spring and I'm pushing 38g slugs at 970 for 80 Foot pounds which would equate to 34g going 1025 FPS. but pellets tumble at those velocities. I just recommended starting at 840-880...

Taipan 25 Caliber Taipan Vet 2 Standard

This gun is easy to adjust. Only thing I did was change the hammer spring to a heavy one - same as vet one that tony sells. As for slugs AVS 38g dish base diameter .2523 was the absolute best I've shot so far.

new to guns, need purchase recommendations

Crows huh, prepare for real challenge, as mentioned before, shoot 1 and others spread the word. then you have to reach 50-75 yards and if you get a few, they will just move farther away. The worst will be when they know you are a threat, they will do the dive down to the ground and grab some...

Epic Epic 2 with the AVS slugs

After getting the correct slugs for my taipan vet 2’s , I decided to revisit my epic 2 in 25 cal, both the LW poly and CZ barrels, 550mm. Both Steve and myself knew the LW poly liked smaller diameter slugs than the CZ. Well, the LW poly liked .2523 38g AVS slugs- just over 1/2 MOA at 54 yards. I...

Huben Can anything outslug the Huben K1?

Really good glass will push $500. But worth it! You sound young, so many options will be satisfying for your venture. My friend has a K1. I’ll match my taipan vet 2 against it any day. But I don’t care for the lack of decocking the huben presents. Plus not easy to work on.
