Ok cavedweller you might be on to something. I left my reg at 100 and dialed the power wheel up a few clicks to 815 with 13.4gr JSB’s and what do you know pellet on pellet at 25 and damn close at 50 except for my wind reading skills. Thanks for the info

When ordering scope caps do you order based on lens size or the outside diameter of the casings?

As previously asked the scope I’m currently trying is the delta Stryker 3.5-21x44. I am having trouble finding a good set of scope caps for it, any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have the .177HP set up for field target. The rifle is a shear pleasure to shoot and the only part I’m not happy with is the size of the cocking handle, I would prefer one a little shorter but I haven’t gone looking for one yet.

I have owned the bantam sniper hr for about five years and the only complaint I have is the trigger could be better. Never leaks, hits what I aim at (assuming I do my job). Then there is the ghost, my what a fine piece of equipment. My two cents !

My ghost is the high power version in .177, I have the reg set at 100 bar, the hammer spring is the light one, and the power wheel on 5 for 910fps with jsb 10.3gr for around 19.5 foot pounds. An excellent field target rifle with horsepower to spare.

Please explain what you mean as I thought dialing the diopter till the cross hairs are in focus was all that was needed for that.

As for an appropriate scope, consider athlon Midas Tac. irregardless of magnification they are awesome scopes for the money. And enjoy the huntsman as it is a very fine rifle.

I picked up a ghost HP in .177 and after some tweaking it has become an excellent field target rifle. Well built and accurate!

Please consider the athlon Midas Tac scopes as they perform well. Also the bushnell match pro for the money are great.

I added a 177 hi power ghost earlier this year and it performs beautifully. I had to tune it down for field target but it’s well built and an absolute pleasure to shoot. Highly recommended.
