I spend some time on another site, they have requested I volunteer as a moderator. Sorry I don't work for free while others make money.

    New YH Compressor.

Ingersoll Rand 38436721 OEM All Season Select Synthetic Lubricant, 1L, Bottle Good to know that Home Depot has it @ 22, get it at Home Depot, Amazon is grossly overpriced. I'll get mine there next time, thank you! I've not ever been disappointed with an IR product. In the case of this oil, IR...

    Hatsan blitz

Usage has helped my trigger a bunch. I suspect one could disassemble and polish parts to further improve it. I've not heard of any method to reduce the cyclic rate yet, to be honest I've not looked specifically. I kinda like it fast...... :)

They are fussy lighting wise. I have seen kits to replace those wacky skyscreens with artificial light instead. They are workable as is.

    Hatsan blitz

The cyclic rate is high, one of the reasons I chose .22 to keep it cheap to feed. I'm on the fence buying the Hatsan speedloader for the standard magazines. I think I'll purchase the speedloader before I buy a big magazine for it. I think I would rather have a couple more standard magazines and...

It's likely laying in a post office facility somewhere. Oh well can't get it fixed anyway. I think they are still about 99 bucks for a basic chronograph. The newer hang on the barrel type appear to be convenient. I'll stick with my old school chrony, heck at this point I take pride in the fact...

    Centerfire v. Air…

I have my feet firmly in both worlds. I've been shooting the airguns a lot lately. My friend from Japan came to visit, sent him back to Japan with a sore hand. He liked the sheer power of full house .44 mag. I let him warm up with mouse fart .44 loads, then broke out the barn burners that he so...

Sounds like the trigger system is like the one in the only bullpup I own. I have a Walther G22 bullpup .22 I like it with the exception of the trigger. That long link flexes and makes the trigger very spongy. Need to figure out how to harden that link and better support it...one of these days.

    Squirrels and Tractor Supply fault

Funny when I lived in an awesome place for stargazing, I was not in to it back then. Back in the late 90's I had a 5 acre property just South of Sunriver Oregon. So dark my good friends city kid teenager was afraid to go outside at night. Really did not need a telescope, it was awesome.

    Squirrels and Tractor Supply fault

Keep your compressor cool with a large water tank. Use high quality synthetic air compressor oil in it and change oil frequently. These two items will help with longevity.

    Hatsan blitz

The trigger on my Blitz is getting much better with use. I've been very pleased with my Blitz. I went with a scope initially, it is currently wearing a red dot. Only really had one issue early on, totally my fault. I used a cleaning rod to push the multiple pellets out of the bore 4-5 of them...

    Centerfire v. Air…

I still may get a can or two for my .22 PB's. I chose the pneumatic gun route because my semi rural home is but a hundred feet or so inside city limits. Firearm discharge is prohibited so I would still need to drive ten minutes to my range to shoot quietly. I could shoot PB's in the basement but...

Did a guy by the name of Rube design the "skyscreens" for those old Chronographs? I too have one of the old metal box Chronys. While rather fussy once you know the unit, the only thing that kills them is projectiles. Tho there are times I feel like shooting those skyscreens. I think I paid 99...

AEAC Video Review - JTS Comp100 Liquid Cooled Portable Airgun Compressor

I would like to see accurate specifications on the pump themselves. What I routinely see is the maximum pressure the pump can produce. What I rarely see is the volume specification. The manufacturer's fail to provide what is among the most significant performance specifications. When data is...

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

If you have some scrap synthetic carpet, use spray glue and attach from inside the lid for your target window. Holds up a little better, and is nice and quiet too.

What can you hunt with a sub 12 ft air rifle at close range?

There are bunny rabbits and jack rabbits. I often found myself considering calibers larger than .22 for jackrabbits, heck the bunny rabbits? The rifles report just might give them heart failure. Jack rabbits are kinda the Coyote of the rabbit world. they are tough!

    Yong Heng leaks?

Leak detector works better than soap. Both Lowes and Home Depot sell it. Rectorseal is the manufacturer. Hint, it works pretty well diluted, one bottle is about adequate for an airgun club. Very thin liquid that bubbles like crazy even when heavily diluted. The leak detector is benign I've not...

What can you hunt with a sub 12 ft air rifle at close range?

Back in the day we had jack rabbit derbies. The local fruit packer would dump huge piles of peach pits on their lot. The jackrabbit population exploded and their food source soon runs out. The only way was semi auto .22 or shotgun. A .22 LR would only take them out with a head shot, they will...

Some crazy finds at my local swapmeet

I am a fan of older equipment. When it comes to outboard motors, 80's and up...I'm not nuts, but as long as it is quality and has electronic ignition salt water damage is about the only disqualifier. The manufacturer's are pulling maximum power from minimum displacement in today's cars. That...

    New YH Compressor.

As you get older? Just be happy to wake up, period! That is assuming you get any sleep at all. It's weird in my 20-30s 7-8 hrs sleep always, come my 40's and I was down to 5 hours, 60's now is less than that. I figure by the time I am 90 I will need no sleep at all. Seems logical anyway. Perhaps...
