HW/Weihrauch Next step up from HW50

I have an HW 95L with H&N .177 field trophy pellets. I was playing around at about 20-30 yards to start on different days. I was sitting down since I'm disabled and I was hitting pretty much where I aimed it. A question how often do you have to tighten up the rear sight? Same goes for the rest...

    N/A Ft break barrel rifle

Is FT similar to NRA Silhouette? I got a new Weihrauch HW 95L this and it's a fine shooter.

Normally I'm a walnut and bluing kind of guy, but that subtle blue laminate is very cool.

    Good Airgun Scope

One question about choosing a scope, not asking for one. Being a powder shooter, I have at least 6 riflescopes. I usually picked out one based on the specs of the optics. I bought a break barrel springer but I don't remember seeing 'suitable for springers' on any riflescope specs when I am...

    Scope for hw50

I enjoy shooting open sights when I can, leverguns look best without a scope. What do I have to do when I pick it up? Just basic chores and gun barrel cleaner.

    Scope for hw50

On my powder burners, I started out with Nikon riflescopes, then I moved up in the world to Leupold and the Vortex. I have 3 or 4 with scopes on at the time of purchase. They are on leverguns at present and I should do some research to see how suitable they might be, just on a chance. Thanks for...

How many of you bought airguns at a physical store vs online?

Being a geography fan it would help if you told us which Springfield you hang your hat, there are a number of states that have a Springfield.

How many of you bought airguns at a physical store vs online?

I was planning to buy an HW 50S but some places didn't have them in stock. So I went to Airguns of Arizona and for a few bucks more I got an HW95 Luxus. I like to shoot Levergun Silhouette with the metal animals. I wanted an airgun to knock down the rams at 50 yards so the 95 seemed a better match.

N/A Another new shooter needs help

I would go to the federal WMA's in each state (NJ) to practice my shotgunning and crows were perfect for that too. A friend of mine that didn't hunt asked me what I do with them. I said nuttin, there are coyotes, foxes, skunks, etc. that take care of it for me! :)

N/A Another new shooter needs help

I'm sure I'll need more. I have a .22 LR bullet trap so I'll be able to play with that. I also have live in a rural area with a line of old trees across from my house. Every year the crows love them trees and the land behind them is protected farm land with no homes, plus I have a hunting...

N/A Another new shooter needs help

Well since I said I would let the posters here know what air gun I purchased from all the help everybody gave me, I purchased an HW 95 Luxus in .177 with a tin of H&N Field Target Trophy Pellets.

    HW35E vs HW50S

Thanks what I wanted to know. I plan to shoot NRA Silhouttte animal metal targets that are placed at 50 yds for the rams. I have a disability form from the NRA so I can shoot sitting (this competition is performed offhand), even a heavier gun is not a problem. Well my problem was solved. I...

How did you know you were done?

Here is something else to think about when not shooting outside in the woods. This a great trap and the opening is 10 1/2"X10 1/2". https://www.airgundepot.com/champion-heavy-duty-metal-trap.html

    Scope for hw50

So I guess I'll just use the open sights until I need a scope. My vision is still pretty decent.
