One major advantage of tactical is the ability to replace the grip, and sometimes even the stock. Brands that come to mind, AA, AAA, FX, RAW, BRK. I’m sure I’m missing more
Sorry, have since sold that particular 30. Worth it for experimenting and just how fun it was to shoot. Keep in mind I was limited to ~10 yards. Either kit works, kinda felt like a shooting a pcp, (uninterrupted view through the scope while firing).
This is what happens when they don’t copy AAA designs lol. They need to take that stock back to the drawling board. Not trying to be mean, just honest.
My wide BKL dovetail riser kept sliding back on my springer, so I tried tightening it unmounted and leaving it in direct sunlight. This was a few weeks back w/ Sacramento weather hovering around 100F. Every few hours I would retighten it to ~40 inch lbs. To my surprise it didn’t work. I think...
To my untrained eye that looks like a Turkish model. Don’t recall “power lok” on the Birmingham ones…. Maybe a mix of parts from both countries… my longbow is hold sensitive, the shot cycle is too snappy.
It appears I forgot to reinstall the piston sleeve when throwing in a ARH kit. Any issues if I go w/out one? My 98 uses a new style cocking shoe. I kinda dreaded the whole tuning experience & would rather not disassemble again. Should have sent it to a professional tuner, but I didn’t.
