Cheaper bullpup options other than the FX Impact M4 Compact in .22?

Other than weight, you’re describing a Taipan Veteran 1 shorty. They are extremely well made, absolutely trouble free, powerful, as accurate as anything made, and did I mention a trigger to die for. They are getting harder to find and I will never get rid of mine. I would put a want to buy on...

New to pcp first 9L tank fill, GX CS4

It would be interesting to know how much the tank weighed empty then full. Back when I used to scuba dive a lot, you could tell the full tanks from the used ones by picking them up. It’s amazing how much volume they hold, so I’d think filling one of those from empty should take a while. Also...

    FX Wildcat mk3 (value priced)?

I bought the VP and put a 480cc carbon bottle on it. I lucked out and got an FX bottle cheap. You don’t necessarily have to put an FX branded bottle on it, you can get a bottle much cheaper on Amazon or Aliexpress. The carbon bottle is a noticeable weight saving for sure. That being said, if...

    N/A Moisture in PCP airguns

I have never heard of putting silicone oil in a gun as a rust preventive. I go to extremes to make sure the air I put in my guns is dry. I’ve never had a problem.

Another day in the squirrel woods

I switched to rim fires in 1984, anybody can kill a squirrel with a shotgun. I got into PCP’s right at 10 years ago and haven’t used anything else since. It’s a hoot hunting squirrels with an air rifle, I’ll never use anything else.

I want to reply to a classified ad but even after the 10 posts 10 days I'm still unable

It’s a shame there are so many dishonest people in this world but it’s something we have to live with. I’m glad Michael tries to make it difficult for the thieves. Fortunately, I have bought many guns and accessories from the classifieds without any issues. If you’re careful, you won’t have any...

A short walk in the woods

I took my Veteran standard.25 for a little walk the other morning, the .25 Hades at 890 sure puts a thump on them.

    Tuxing 032 Leaking....fixed

You do lose pressure south of the check valve in tower two. You can bleed it all the way down if you want to and you’ll still have pressure in the second tower. I run an additional full size filter before my tank so I don’t have to pressure up the whole thing again. You can restart the...

    CGA347 Valve?

I replaced mine with the Joe B. Valve with dual gauges, it was pricey but worth it in the long run. It has a really nice glycerin filled gauge so there’s no doubt about the fill pressure in your guns.

    Tuxing 032 Leaking....fixed

I replaced the stainless compression fittings on the top of the towers with male fosters. I took the check valve out the one on the first tower so when you bleed the moisture you don’t lose pressure on the second. Works great and I don’t have to fight with those fittings every time.

    Tank deal or no?

There are many bottle guns on the market with Chinese bottles on them. I haven’t had a problem with mine. If you’re going to fill it yourself, I don’t see a problem with the Tuxing bottle. I’m sure many on here would disagree though. It’s just whatever you feel comfortable with.

    Eating City Squirrels?

My good buddy lives in the city and kills many squirrels in his yard and eats them. I personally don’t see an issue, it’s not like they eat anything different than squirrels that live in the woods.

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review
