Snowpeak Modding a M60B (.35cal) and found something odd.

I do not have a m60 but I have 3 P35s and they all came with a poor fill probe. They leak. But alliexpress has them for less than $4 and they work great. If they fit the M60 they are definitely worth getting.

    Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56

You are welcome. It also came with pretty nice flip up lens covers.

    Scope leveler...

I used one of those tools to put a scope back after checking some shorter rings a few minutes ago. I don't think there is a perfect method. Most, including the mirror, require the gun to be level. How accurate is your level? Setting the flat bottom of the scope turret area parallel to the...

    N/A Eastern European Curiosity

I have an Airmaks Caiman X but it is my only airgun >$1000 so I have no way to contrast it with your FX or the other guns you are considering. It is noticably better machined than my under $500 airguns. It is as accurate as the best of my under $500 airguns. The trigger pull is more...

    Centerfire v. Air…

I had a blue streak as a kid but basically shot PB until I retired. I let my gun range membership expire after my wife died and have not reinstated it. I enjoy pcps in my backyard, mostly, although I sometimes travel to a public range or game lands. In addition to the reasons already...

Long shot, Dead squirrel with no penetration.

Congratulations. I also suspect there is a hole but it didn't bleed so you don't see it. I killed one with my P35-25 with a shot to the hinge of the jaw. Totally missed the brain. But it crushed the skull. If it did not penetrate maybe it was something like that.

Umarex Purchased a Zelos looking for mods

If no part of the gun ever sees >250 bar then it isn't unsafe. But I still do not see the practicality of pushing the bottle forward to add very little to the bottle pressure, assuming you do not fill from a compressor exclusively. 250 bar works fine.

Umarex Purchased a Zelos looking for mods

The gun is only rated for 250 bar so I wouldn't fill it to 300 bar even with a pre regulator. It probably won't break it but air at this pressure is not something to take chances with. I also do not fill my 300 bar rated guns to 300 either. It is not a safety concern in that case it just...

    Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56

I got this scope from Camera Land a few days ago. I paid $299 plus shipping. I mounted it and have shot a few 30 yard challenge targets with it. I also compared it at 24X to my Arken EPL-4 6-24 set at 24X. I am happy with it. Clarity seems as good as the Arken which I think is good...

    Which is better?

I use an expired Scott fireman's tank I got for about $100 off ebay. It was worked without issue for .e for several years now. I fill it with my Yong Heng which has an additional air dryer and 2 small radiators. You could also use a large tank of cool water or put ice in the water. I just...

    Added weight for benchrest shooting.

I've done a little messing around adding weight to one of my P35s for 30 yard challenge shooting. But it occurred to me to ask more experienced bench shooters. I'm sure weight helps tame guns with recoil but does weight help 5 lb 22 caliber 32fpe airguns too? If so, do you have a favorite way...

Other Akela vs. P35 vs. Bullboss

I have 3 P35s but no experience with the other two. I am pretty sure the P35s are the lightest. They also have mid instead of rear cocking. Mine are all accurate, the 22 surprisingly so. It has given me a 200 on the 30 yard challenge. They are regulated guns. My 22 likes h&n baracuda match...

Daystate Uhh ooo did I make a mistake? Regulated vs non

You will probably have a little more velocity unregulated but you will have less shots with the same velocity. Hunting or pesting doesn't require a bunch of shots, however. You can add a regulator later if you decide you need it. If you got a good deal I'd keep it.

What can you hunt with a sub 12 ft air rifle at close range?

I use H&N baracuda match 10.6 grain pellets in my P35-177 for hunting. It came tuned to shoot them over 900 fps at max hammer spring. I'm pushing the a little under 900. I think having some margin for less than ideal placement is a good idea when it can be done safely not because my guns...

What can you hunt with a sub 12 ft air rifle at close range?

My first pcp was a marauder pistol. Original tune was about 13 fpe. I lost 2 or 3 squirrels out of the first half dozen I thought I hit. I might has missed some of them or hit them poorly but after a retune to 18 fpe I had none run off out of 12 or so. But if I had to use a 12 fpe gun I...

    Small compressors poo-pooed?

You can fill from a hand pump or smaller easily portable compressor but in all cases you need to filter out water. The least expensive pumps seem to need added filtration.

    Which is better?

I don't think the OP gave us enough information to provide a real answer. If he is thinking of a 3000 psi scuba tank it would not fully fill any of my guns except my Prod. 580cc storage seems like it will want more like 3600 psi which it won't do. I made up some numbers and used the...

    30-Yard Challenge

This isn't for the leader board. I got my Athlon Argos 10-40 late yesterday and this is the first target. I sighted right in the middle of the target at 30 yards and barely hit it up to the right of the 4 block. But I got adjusted and decided to just shoot the target. The scope shifted right...

    FX HUMA AIR REBUILD KITS

I have a huma regulator in my Caiman and had to rebuild it when it was new. I ordered a kit from Huma but I then took it apart and I didn't really need it. So I have it as a spare now. I don't remember shipping costing that much but I might have forgotten. The only "special" part in the kit...

Is there anything in between the Zelos and the Impact m4?

My Airmaks Caiman is a bullpup that costs about half what an Impact costs and has a pretty good shot count. The huma regulator is not externally adjustable but that is not a big deal for me. I have adjusted most of my guns but only until I get it shooting like I want it to. Then I leave it...
