That's the root I'm going to try. I'm struggling finding the correct specification for brocock hammer spring. Guess it's going to be trial and error wit a big box of compression springs.

It's a sub 12ft lb gun. Compared to my AA s510 which sounds like a mouse farting, the brocock sounds like hammer and anvil.

Hammer removed so only the cage moving....wow that's loud....wonder if it's the spring or any other ideas ?????.....

Arrrgh......a hammer hitting an anvil would be quiter. ...won't be long before it's binned.

Anyone know the specifications of the hammer spring? I think it is 57mm x 11mm x 1.2mm. Cheers.

OK.. I give up.. how on earth do I reduce power via slingshot... I've tried everything and nothing seems to make a difference.... confused.

Am I correct in thinking that winding the hammer screw in ( clockwise) puts tension on the spring and therefore reduces the power???? Or have I got that wrong. There is absolutely no info here in uk about power adjustment as most sites frown upon it.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to make a sub12lbf Brocock Bantam mk1 a bit quieter from slingshot area? ( and no please don't say sell it and buy a X). It's the only thing I don't like about the gun but struggling to find much in the way of any service information. There's very little...
