What rifles have you bought twice?

Do these count as duplicates? I also had a Marauder rifle that I enjoyed, but sold it when I started getting into Weirauchs, Brococks, Daystates, etc.

    Crosman New 1701p first PCP

The R10's are the best I've found, albeit quite pricy. It's not pellet picky at all and you should be able to find a bunch of pellets it shoots well. I found these to be the best bang for the buck. Excellent accuracy and much cheaper than most of the RWS options.

    Crosman New 1701p first PCP

Love the Crosman/Benjamin pistols. Add a TKO moderator and it's as quiet of an airgun imaginable.

Crosman What are your favorite pistols and why.

I agree with AirNGasman....easiest pcp's that exist to work on. My favorites, although some set up as carbines, from top to bottom are my prod, 1701p and 1720t.

    Benjamin Silly newb question

Having owned a Marauder, go with jsb 15.9 and 18.1 pellets. They should be as accurately or even more than anything else you feed it. If cost is important to you, the Crosman 14.3 hollow points you get at Walmart for $7 are a descent option.

Daystate wolverine R vs weihrauch HW100, which is more quiet?

HW100 with stock moderator in .177 tuned for just under 20 fpe is absolutely the most quiet airgun rifle I've owned or shot. This includes marauder, daystate huntsman, brocock sniper w/sumo amongst others.

    Crosman Crosman 1701P Silhouette

As you can see, I love these pistols. Easiest guns ever to work on. I left my 1701 stock tune as I get 60 shots with 8 grain pellets that yield 390-425-390 fps......405-425-405 for 50 shots. However my 1720 and Prod definitely benefit from the Bstaley mods to help flatten out the shot curve...

What Red Dot scope is your favorite and why.

This Ultradot, Matchdot 2 has made my 1701 more enjoyable to shoot than the 2x7 scope I previously had on it. Looked at a few dot sites and wasn't happy with how much parallax they had. This has minimal parallax and with the different dot options, is easy to center in the site, minimalizing...

Moderator for RAW HM1000x in .22cal

I tried a 0db(the smaller one that comes on the Daystate Huntsman). It did ok, but not great....still louder than I like. The Sumo was much better, but it belongs on my Brocock. I ordered a custom TKO for $125. Just tell Mike it's for a RAW and he'll tke care of you. It's about as good as...

    Crosman 2300 grips

Curse you beerthief!!! I was curious after reading your post so i went on the woods and waters site to have a look for myself. Now look at what you just made me go do. Been wanting a full stock for the 1720 for some time now. The beautiful Corcoran wood that's currently on the 1720 will...

    Crosman 2300 grips

I'm not positive about the 2300, but I'd assume it would take the same grips as the 1901 and 1720 I have. My 1901 has Verne Austin's and my 1720 has Steve Cororcan grips. Both are outstanding quality and both reputable sellers here on AGN. Verne's email is [email protected] And the link...

When you care how your pellets arrive.....

This was a package I received from Midway about a week ago. 3 of the 8 tins were open with pellets all over the package. Of course 2 tins were mrd shallow base and the other mrd deep base. To Midways credit, when I called they shipped out the 3 replacement tins that same day. When they...

    RAW Rapid HM1000X External Plenum

Thanks for the replies. My gun is the LRT version in laminate stock. It shoots the 25.4 mrd at 930 as came from the factory. Reg is around 145 bar I believe. If I didn't change the reg pressure or make any hammer spring adjustments, what effect would adding this plenum have? Would the...

    RAW Rapid HM1000X External Plenum

I have a new HM1000X in .22 and I'm looking for some "low hanging fruit" mods to make it a bit more efficient and maybe provide a boost in power if it helps accuracy at longer ranges. From reading all the RAW posts, external plenum and ssg's have been mentioned often. I haven't been able to...

RAW Rapid HM1000X tuning and fun

Thanks for all the info Ranchibi. Would you say it shoots the 18.1 the way you have it tuned as good as it would shoot the mrd from the factory? I'm looking for a tune that under good conditions can shoot a pellet or slug(groups of 5 shots) moa pretty consistently at 50 yards. My Brocock...

RAW Rapid HM1000X tuning and fun

Hi Ranchi. I'm a new raw owner and working on finding the best setup for the gun. Is your raw a stock/out of the box gun/setup or was it a custom order and have you tuned it down? I think mine was shooting the 20.2 a bit faster than yours. I tried the .2165 as that's what I had laying around...

N/A What do you advise? Brands.

The brands that I've owned that seem well made and have been a joy to own and shoot are Daystate, Brocock, RAW and Weihrauch. The brand I would never own again is Hatsan. The simplest airguns to own and operate that I have experience with have been the Benjanin/Crosman renditions of the...

RAW Rapid Deciding between a DonnyFL Koi and Sumo on my .25 RAW

I'll be interested to hear how the Koi works for you. I tried a 0db and the Sumo on my raw .22. The Sumo was better, but it's also substantially larger. The 0db is the smaller version that came with my Daystate Huntsman. Both provided a much needed reduction in sound.
