You’re looking for an accelerometer. They can be pricey.

    Crosman Crosman 1322

I went 22 because it’s easier to load. No other reason.

Ballistic solvers, for those that use them.

Love the write up. I don’t currently have a pellet compatible software, but I am looking for one. Will need to convert my G1 BCs to some other type as well.

    Crosman 1377

Mine is the Crosman of Theseus. More aftermarket parts than factory at this point.

    Crosman 1377

I really hope your flat top kit is adjustable. If it’s a fixed set, it’s almost certainly not going to fit correctly. Either too tight or the pump handle will fall when shot. Here’s mine with all the fixings. It’s a ridiculously fun experience.

Air Arms Smooth Shooting Springer ? Do They Exist ?

My HW77 in .22 with a Vortek kit is pretty smooth. I imagine going to sub 12 ft/lb would be getting into velvet territory.

    Offhand practice

I don’t shoot any particular discipline. I moved to Finland from the USA for a relationship. In the US I hunted a lot, shot benchrest .22 and 2-gun action matches, but here in Finland it’s not so straightforward for me to get firearms. I got into airguns to maintain my marksmanship. I shoot 20...

    Offhand practice

I primarily practice offhand. Been training pretty much daily for like 3 months now. I have noticeably improved in that time frame, from 5-7 moa 5 shot groups down to 3-5 moa. Best thing to do is quit before you get fatigued, especially with a heavy rifle.

    The REALLY, real- real BC

It’s important to consider that BC increases linearly as speed decreases in the subsonic range.

    HW/Weihrauch .20 Caliber HW77K

I wish a HW77 long was available in .20 here in the EU when I decided to purchase my 77. I went with a .22 and am still happy.

    HW/Weihrauch Weihrauch’s make me smile 😊

I just have the one HW. But it’s a treat, and demands perfection from my form.

HW/Weihrauch Who shoots 22 Weihrauchs at 50 yards or more?

I found some tins JSBs to have really poor QC. Lots of damaged pellets. This doesn’t seem to afflict the Heavy or RS types nearly as much as the 14 or 16gr pellets

    Crosman Crosman 1322

Get an adjustable flat top piston and valve set. More power for the same number of pumps.
  15. EquivalentDelta

Which would you prefer and why?

Within 30 yards the heavy pellets don’t have much of a drawback. You’ll generally get better penetration and less wind deflection. The trajectory differences aren’t so noticeable until after 30 yards.

    Crosman Pistol Accuracy Goals?

Hi all, Just recently got back into shooting my 1322 and was wondering what accuracy goals were appropriate with pistols? I work from home and had 15 minutes to kill on a coffee break and banged out this group at 10m. I’m not an old pistolero, just a rifleman looking to broaden the horizon...

HW/Weihrauch Who shoots 22 Weihrauchs at 50 yards or more?

You’re going to struggle with any .22 springer at 50 yards. They don’t have the velocity out of the muzzle, nor the BC, to buck the wind. Even a 5mph crosswind with a 16fpe JSB heavy is looking at almost 4 moa of wind drift at 50 yards. Imagine the group if the wind is swirling a bit. You’re...

What pistol did you shoot today

My 1322 is back in action with a new brass adjustable flat top valve. I spent the day giving her a full service and a fresh zero. The trigger shoe really improved the feel of the grip for me. Highly recommend one for those with big hands.
