Its not setting. You need a barrel that has a sharper twistratio a la 1:14. So long LW doesn`t make these barrels standard its more or less a lotteryticket whether your gun will handle the heavy slugs like the 20-22grain slug well.

Just recieved the ZAN 24grain projectiles(thats what they are). They do +22 ft/ibs in the Revere. Tomorrow I`ll test at backyard range.

If you can do 55-60 ft/ibs with 24grainers you can do deerhunting with headshots.

I know the older RW shot very well with slugs but with the new ART "barrelstuff" its my impression when reading reviews it doesn`t do as good. I wouldn`t mind spend $3K on an airgun that can shoot slugs like lazer, but its a lot money if it ends up as a pelletshooter. (I have that one).
