    Other PP700 optics set up?

It is definately mounted. That is the scope that Ron had on it the day I test fired, and bought the pistol. That version of the pistol has both dovetail and weaver rail. Hard to see the dovetail rail from that angle.

Unregulated just means one less thing to fail. Once you find its pressure range sweet spot, it will be fine. You are shooting in the house and yard, not very far from a source of air.

Rifle may be a touch overkill, but get a good pellet trap and enjoy it. 4-16x50mm Hawke Sidewinder is a proven reliable option.

Sheridan Am I now an honorary American?

Wanted one of those back then also. I showed the parents the blue streak and silver streak in the cabela's catalog and it was a hard no on the .20 or .22 because of the price. They couldn't see the logic of BB guns back then, probably still don't. I was lucky to live on a farm where I had the...

The HW95 and 77 are excellent choices to start out with. Skip over the Gamos and go for the good ones. If you are thinking of leaving them at full power, .22 is a good choice. If you will want to try field target and/or tune them to a smooth shooting 12 ft lb, .177 is the way to go. .20 is...

What can you hunt with a sub 12 ft air rifle at close range?

A faster miss is still a miss. They have been hunting rabbits and birds in the UK with 12 ft lbs as long as there have been 12 ft lb rifles.

    scope sighting is off

Check your mounts. Is it an mil corrected mount and you have it backwards. Break barrel rifles sometimes have barrels that droop, and need to be bent to center. If all that us good, cut a couple shimms from a coke can to put under the scope in the rear ring.

N/A First PCP - Umarex Notos or Gamo Urban - 4 practical off-hand shooting

I have a BSA Scorpion, a close cousin to the game urban. It is hard to beat the accuracy of those bsa barrels, and they are a handy sized package. You will definately be pleased as long as the pickle tames the bark a bit compared to my bsa.
