Just think of a staple gun going off. At least that what my .30/350mm sounds like. I don't think it's that loud especially for a .30cal. In .25cal, it's a tad quieter but not by much.

Not much to it. Just basic tools and a pull through cleaning kit. For a lifetime of maintenance, build yourself a spring compressor and have a spare piston seal, main spring, and moly grease on the side.

Like others have said, they are several QD mounts out there but they're super expensive. I'm not sure what your budget is. I never tried the more affordable QD mounts so I can't give my opinion on them. I have several LaRue Tactical QD mounts that have served me well. They've doubled in price...

I'm not that organized but I do know where everything is at. For spare parts, I place them inside the box the gun came in. O-rings are in separate boxes. I need one of those tray organizers to make it easier to identify.

Gonna recommend this every time. Athlon Helos BTR GEN2 2-12X42. It's not the most compact scope out there but not bad at 11.8 inches in length. The reticle on this is awesome in the lower magnification ranges for close up work. Just remember, the shorter a scope is made, more optical compromises...
