EDgun Based on the thread "L2 explouse in UK".

Since this is a single event it's reasonable to believe that 99% of mfg guns are structurally sound. I personally appreciate the open attitude that edgun has demonstrated with their analysis. Metal fatigue, corrosion, changes to the assembly weakening the structure are all something that we...

    AirMaks Arms Let's talk Katran

I've seriously considered getting one. Haven't decided since there are so many competitive guns in the same price range.

    AirMaks Arms Let's talk Katran

I saw in a review that if you loosen the hinge screw slightly it will fix the wobble making it very solid. It was opined by the reviewer that later versions got fixed being very solid I guess.

N/A Least problematic air rifle brand for newbies

Learned that the hard way. Haven't forgotten the lesson. Price doesn't always equal quality but finding quality always comes at a cost.

N/A Least problematic air rifle brand for newbies

Wow! I'm in the 1% for the first time in my life. Lol I just want a reliable multi purpose gun, I know now it's impossible, that I expect won't be cheap. I've seen the reality now so I'm looking for two guns both reliable that fit my needs. -- hoping for cheap. :)

Other Stoeger XM1 Bull pup air rifle for lefty's?

Awesome, thanks! I like both but the xm1 seems stronger. Good info on the bipod, I'll check it out.

Other Stoeger XM1 Bull pup air rifle for lefty's?

Their website states right handed but other then cocking I'm not seeing anything in the pictures that would be uncomfortable for a southpaw . I wouldn't mind it being on the right side. Is there anything I'm missing like the grip or something else that makes it exclusive?

Me too! They are definitely out of my price range but I'm impressed with them.

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

This alone is enough to prevent my purchasing their products. How a company treats their customer is very important to me. I've seen your comments about skout indicating their accessibility as well as some other sources so I've seriously reconsidered their rifle for my first. It's expensive...

Exciting isn't the word I'd use but nuts is very close. It's like discovering you've accidentally walked into Wonka's chocolate factory.

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

When I first started looking I was about to buy an Edgun because it has everything I wanted but after reading some of the issues a few had I rethought my decision on it. I need the reliability since I can't do surgery on them besides barrel changes. I have a wide open expanse to shoot from so...

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

Any idea what the fps / fpe is in .25? I think I heard in one video they mentioned 80j but wasn't sure. Nice rifle, Haven't seen anything about adjustments but it's not an issue for me if it's not pellet fussy like I've heard some rifles are. I think I'd be comfortable with it.

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

Wow! At less than $500 and .25 with center action I really like it. Any idea what its distance limit is? I'm planning to shot at or below 100yds so it shouldn't matter. I just about decided to buy either a cricket 2 or used Epoch today but to be honest I've never had such a hard time making a...

https://utahairguns.com/product/fx-dreamline-lite-compact-25-300cc-refurbished/ I looked at that one but being a lefty I'd be kissing the magazine. The dream-lite tho I'm looking hard at.

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

I'm starting to seriously consider the Caiman because of it's ergonomics. I can't get over the thought tho of shooting targets with a 2x4. :) AEAC's report on it is exceptional. So I'm trying to decide on purchasing it while I wait for a larger caliber Kalibrgun Springbok to appear. That...

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

That's unfortunate about the ghost. For some reason I thought the mag could be loaded from either side. Must be the kalibrgun or one of the other zillion I looked at I was thinking of. The cricket and Caiman are both on top of my list for tactical and now trying to rule out an XR and...

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

Awesome gun from what I've seen about it so far. Neither the Renegade or the xr are the tactical that I've drooled over but I'm comfortable with the traditional style feel. I'm looking at both as possible. The price keeps me in the ballpark for another being a big bore.

I guess I should have looked at the daystate line before but because of the electronics I've steered clear preffering mechanical but that's one I'm going to take a hard look at. Thanks 😀
