The male end on the receiver has an OD of 16mm (just measured) so it's M16 not M18. The M16 thread is unusual.

I can accept that 20+ FPS spread for a regulated airgun which cost s$300. For an airgun that cost $2000+ not so much. A $2000+ airgun better be almost perfect. As in I can shoot it without tuning it.

Your air bottle has an M18x1.5 thread and your regulator has a M18x1.5 input thread and G1/2-14 output thread. The bottle and regulator can just be attached to each other. The adapter is M18x1.5 to G1/2-14. How can you use that adapter ?

If the Zelos air tank to receiver thread is M16x1.5 (as stated before) than would an M16x1.5 to an HPA regulator thread (G1/2-14 adapter) work? WIth that adapter you could attach any air bottle which has an HPA regulator.

How did you make the stock? Is the stock wood?

The Zelos is shorter, lighter and can produce the same or more power. The best thing Gunnar has is the Crosman warranty. I own a Zelos and have not shot a Gunnar. I assume that the guys in favor of the Gunnar own one, and likely have not shot a Zelos.

It looks like you switched the air tubes between the 1358 and 2027. I still have the 2027 and tuned it to 625-660FPS for 4 mags (48 shots) with 7.4 grain pellets. The 2027 would make a great short compact with the right stock. I just wish I could get a 3D design and print a cheap short stock...

Crosman has the best customer support in the business. Crosman also has some of the most expensive PCPs for what the offer. Gunnar is just a Kral made PCP very similar to any other Kral PCP (NP03, Puncher, etc). Kral also makes the Akela, Kratos and Cayden sold by Crosman. I have 2 Kral NP03...

Why do you need a .25 for the backyard and cellar? A .25 is good for hunting and longer distance 70+ yards where .22 would be less accurate.

Regarding the Gunnar vs Zelos. The Gunnar MSRP of $1000 was ridiculously high. 2-3 years ago when the Gunnar was released $500-$600 MSRP would have been more accurate. Now I would pay about $300-$400 for the Gunnar. It is not even regulated but it has a big air bottle to compensate.

That channel is mostly useless.

I have a .177 Hatsan Jet 2. I placed an M4 washer on the valve stem. The washer will restrict the air flow. It will give you lower power but a longer and flatter shot string.

I am only target shooting. I would really like a Zelos in .177 :)

You need to learn how to take advantage of a $2000+ PCP. You learn skills by practicing on cheaper air guns.
