Pistol Scope Choices for FT or EFT

How about this? https://www.burrisoptics.com/riflescopes/handgun-scope-3-12x32mm Due to the high magnification its not ideal for freehand shooting, but rested it is not bad at all.

Red dot or short length scope??

Similar to MikeVV I swap between red dot and pistol scope, and store both in the gun case. And of course, you always have the iron sights available. But not for all pistols . Here for excample a Steyr 50 rf with the 3 alternatives, and changing sights gives minimum of POI, but that depends on...

    Moderator Adapter for Steyr’s LP50

If that`s the case, I probably order the HP version in stead of waiting for the "Action"-version to come out. Any how I am not interested in the butt stock. I bought my RF-version from Krale. Maybe they know if the new barrel cover is available. ...

HW/Weihrauch How hard is it to make your own stock?

This was my first FX Wildcat stock, made out of Flame Birch some years ago. I used a coffee mix in the sanding process to lift the grains. Tools was what I had on hand at the moment, and mostly the same I use today. The most time consuming part is the in-letting for barrel/cylinder/action, and...

Advice sought on an entry level 10M air pistol

Second that. Or a second hand Rohm Twinmaster top. They are no powerhouses, but durable 10 m pistols.

    Other Webley Hurricane

You simply replace the rear sight with a picatinny rail (search the net) and mount a red dot (search the net) on it. In my case I had to drill an extra hole through the rail to match one of the original shrew holes. I can`t remember now, but I THINK I used the original sight shrews when fasten...

N/A A question for you Pistoleros

I replaced the rear sight on a Walther cp88, and that was dovetail mounted. You may do a search for that one? Edit: oh, I see now. The Q don’t have the dovetail track milled in the receiver, such as the W cp88 has.

When backpakking for airgun shooting in the wild, I use this one. A bullpup in the main room, and a (here a long) pistol in the front room.

Other Walther LG90 - some rescue needed?

Went for the Bull, 2 shots 53 meter. Very pleased with this rifle, and it is looking brand new now. Switched the Hawke prism with a 4x Sun Optics. Better for short distances. Conclusion: A good buy, even if the wood wasn’t the best 😊

Other Walther LG90 - some rescue needed?

Nah, this walnut is NOT cooperating! I have oiled and polished the metal parts, and they are looking good, but the stock doesn’t live up to my expectations. The grip/stipplings was easy to fix, but the grains in the walnut…….. not so good, and I don’t want to sand it further down. Normally the...

Other Walther LG90 - some rescue needed?

Because of the notches (and no hope to rise them with a water treatment), I had to sand the stock down heavily. I also want to smooth the edges, and curve the rear/under section a bit. Not much, but enough to give the rifle a more slick appearance.

Other Walther LG90 - some rescue needed?

Got this rifle. It is in good condition mechanically, but the age show it’s face. Started the recovery yesterday, and so far it is looking good.
