Gun cradle or gun cart and pics for ideas.

After having my heart broken a couple of times by strollers, I'm sticking with the gun box for now. I've seen some of the Oklahoma guys use a box that has a neat design (maybe Curtis N?). Basically, it's like the attached photo with a shallow box at the base and a couple of feet for stability...

    Range Carts

Have witnessed SEVERAL baby stroller carts falling over or getting blown over having the rifles getting thrown to the ground and get screwed up. LOW CG is key, and a wide stance of wheels to the ground ... be careful and think about what type ground your cart may be asked to roll over etc ...

i believe the wheels quick disconnect on the BOBs to make it smaller and easier to transport. Just a thought. Seems like carrying all your gear in hands and shoulders would wear you out faster, cause some unstable shooting. Did you notice any of that in comparison to the stroller?

...a bench swivel seat when I pop on the bucket seat lid that’s just on the other side of the black tool box. I did witness Centercuts BOB stroller along with others that had them, and if I could that’s the way to go. A few of the ranges that I’ve been to use 3/4” crushed gravel for their...

    Tearing apart a BOB

All proud of my BOB stroller decked out and take it outside to practice my kneelers and standers. Turned my back on my rig for a second and because i forgot to lock the wheels....Murphy screwed me, and rightfully so...the BOB moved forward over a lip in the concrete and tumped over; spilling my...

    HFT gun recommendation

...the Huntsman and Wolverine in .177 that I use for HFT. I prefer the Wolverine. It is chunky and I wouldn't want to take it on a hunt. But my stroller carries it and my gear so the chunky isn't an issue for HFT. The only small very small gripe is I dont have my scope height perfect. I sure...

    DIY Gun Cart

...to get setup for the session so I decided to make a cart to be able to move everything in one go. The cart is based on a 3-wheel jogging stroller. I stripped it to the chassis and added a wood tray, a cylinder for the air tank and a couple of Kolpin gun grips. I mounted the cylinder (a...

    Cats vs Dogs

A couple air rifles are in the stroller, you can see my bucket there. I was working in the garage and she would go to the guns and whine. She loves to go out and shoot. I think she likes air guns more than most of us.

    FT GUN TOTES

...bottle cage works great to keep a wet water bottle out of your stuff. And the little red paracord loops are to lock it down to my jogging stroller with bungee cords. As Van Hagar said, I've got the Best. Of. Both. Worlds. And I just noticed how horrible some of my cuts are. Ignore that, I...

BOB or Range Cart in loose mushy stones?

...shelf perfect for a large yeti water cooler thermos, and my roll out mat I lay over the bench top. I’ve eyeballed a lot of cool baby stroller carts and yes I would like to go that route but being on a cane won’t allow that. Typically when I go into a store I grab a cart to assist with my...

Gun cradle or gun cart and pics for ideas.

👆so I’m learning!!! Two months ago, a wise old sage of airguns and FT related things, warned me about high weight distribution on a "BOB stroller or other carry all cart". Sure enough, i turned my back on my full cart and palooompa over it tumped fortunately nothing was injured or scratched as...

Let's see those baby strollers, joggers, gear carriers!

I'm thinking about converting an old stroller. I'd love to see some details (not just a pic from 10ft away) on what type of hardware and connections you use to secure your airguns and gear. Thanks -Michael

Here is the one I use. You shape the cuts in the end pieces to fit your gun (bottle end is simple). I used a hole saw set to get the different sizes I needed. I added a button magnet on one end at the top to hold my pellet tin. Add a magnet inside the tin and it is solid. (make the handle...

    Carrying your Buddy Bottle

...it moving from place to place in your home or yard ? a cart with wheels and a rack for one or more rifles and the tank ? a used baby stroller (garage sale ) like used in Field target competitions ? most tanks are in the vertical position . does it have to fold or will it fit in your car ?

Totally agree, navigating rough terrain with a wheeled type carrier can be a real challenge. Furthermore, resting these carriers on uneven ground can be risky. I have witnessed grown men shed tears as the force of gravity tip over their prized rig. Those home made gun totes are a better option...

I would be too worried about possible shenanigans, lol. I like to keep my gun in its case till right before show time. Truly though, I’m more concerned I’ll drop my gun off a stroller as I can only keep one hand on it
