Custom Huben GK1 from Palm Beach Airguns

Call me biased but my version is still the best looking and practical carbine (even Gregor agrees) !!

At that power the regulator would work well for you. Although the unregulated versions power is quire consistent, the regulated versions power deviation is almost non existent.

I would say if you are shooting over 30fpe keep it unregulated. But if under 30fpe the regulator is a must have.

Meaning the V1, V2 and V3 were all made at the same time. It's not like each different version was an upgrade to a previous numbered model. Saying that, the V3 has now got a couple of extra modifications in it from the first V3 that came out.

To be fair if you want the GK1 for max power then a regulator isn't the way forward. But if you don't mind some non crazy yet still decent powers and each shots power to be pretty much identical, then the Huma kit is worth every penny. Yes possibly you lose a tiny bit of air but the power...

Some of the internal parts are also made from different materials. On the V1 some parts are made of Brass but in the V3 they are Aluminium.

That isn't correct mate. First of all the non regulated GK1 does not regulate ?? It does shoot very consistently to a certain point, but a regulated airgun/pistol will always perform / do it better. Huma also make a very good regulator kit.

The Huma Regulator kit looks better (in my opinion) than this one, as it doesn't then add extra length to allow for the pull out fill probe cover. This regulator kit has been available since about January this year.

    The Fenix is coming!

It's actually classed as self indexing (the same as the Leshiy 2)

Yes & no. The original .25 V1 non regulated was a little bit too close to the UK's power law limit when filled to a full 259 Bar fill, but the .22 was OK. Huben in Spain then introduced the regulator just to be on the safer side of things. Saying that, Huben now makes the V3-R which can now...

Yes it is. You can either buy Huben in Spains regulator or Huma now also make one. Here is a video Huma asked me to make for them.

    Huben GK1

Well as I'm the UK's Huben warranty repair guy for Huben in Spain, I kinda know my stuff. 🤣 Plus I am also personal friends with Gregor (who invented it) and although Huben asked for his input regarding the production model, they didn't actually take all of his points/recommendations on board.

The V1, V2 and V3 were all made the same time. The V2 wasn't the second run as you say.

    Let's see your hand cannons

My GK1 is a .25 Hand Cannon (as previously pictured) but can also turn into a long range Carbine with a metal folding stock. No weak tacky looking plastic on this setup ! 🤣 Built to last a lifetime !!!

    I wouldn't want to get hit with a .177 pellet at 6 ft lb's ?!!! Let alone something at 60 ft fb's ??!! 🤣
