    N/A Eastern European Curiosity

I have a Maverick 700 and a Uragan 2 600, both in .25. Bought the Uragan after the Maverick and wish I had bought the Uragan first. I will never get back what I have put into the Maverick to get it close to what I want. The Uragan, all I did was adjust the regulator and it is more than I was...

Have any of you killed a coyote with a Daystate Redwolf .22 Hi Power?

There was a guy on here that took one with a body shot from a Walmart Ruger break barrel gun with cheap pellets. If I recall, he only went about 100 yds and tipped over.

Lesson of the day, never use a petroleum based lube on a compression type rifle.

Diana Opinion on Diana 460 Magnum?

My 460, 48, and 52 all shoot great. I tend to shoot the 48 in .22 more as it’s shorter and almost the same power as the 460. Try the 460,if you can find one, and then if you don‘t like it, sell it and move to the 48. My 350 is a good shooter also even though it’s really long. The Diana rifles...

    RTI RTI Mora issue

Yeah, RTI Arms Shop and RTI Arms EU are two totally separate outfits. Please make sure to differentiate between the two the next time you state your complaints. RTI ARMS EU has been nothing but stellar to deal with and I’m not the only one who has stated that. RTI Arms Shop, completely different...

    FX zan .25 33gr

I shoot the .25 35 gr out of a 24 twist around 975 with good results. By good, I mean 1/2” to 3/4“ at 50 yds. I’m slowly switching to the Nielsen 34.9 mainly for cost, but haven’t given up anything in the accuracy department yet.

    N/A SLAP slugs?

They are FX Hybrid slugs and also known as Impulse Air slugs. All made by RMR. They are dirty when you get them, but I’ve shot them with pretty decent results in both .22 and .25. FX Maverick and Wildcat as well as a RTI Priest II/Prophet with an FX modified liner.

    New species for me.

They can be tough little buggers. This one took a .25 to the noggin.

Is it me or does this also make you cringe a bit?

That’s your way of thinking and that’s fine. I wouldn’t take a shot on a deer or elk that I wasn’t confident in making, but coyotes are a different story in my world. The only good coyote is a dead one, but where you’ve never dealt with them before, let alone, hunted them, you probably put them...

Nope, he kept at it until he got the job done. That’s what counts.

    FX Maverick sniper 25cal

180 first reg and start somewhere in the 130 on the second And work your way up to accuracy. Really depends on if you got a good liner also as FX had trouble getting the .25 liners consistent. Don’t really need the slug power kit to get good power out of it. Get the spring adjuster that is sold...

ShinSung Shin Sung Career II help needed

Also, there used to be a foster fitting conversion for them, but I don’t know if it is still available or not. Mine was very accurate. My rear sight stripped out on mi… would like to find the parts for the rear sight, but I think it’s a long shot.

ShinSung Shin Sung Career II help needed

Yeah, max power will go supersonic with just about any pellet. I do believe that only one screw needs to be removed from the scope rail to get the top off. Been a long time since I did it. They are a powerhouse. I shot mine on medium power with Crow Magnums for starlings in the cherry tree...

ShinSung Shin Sung Career II help needed

Be careful when adjusting it though, as it is cast aluminum and can break. Don’t ask. I milled a hole in that top cover so I could adjust for different pellet lengths without disassembling the rifle.

ShinSung Shin Sung Career II help needed

There is a little finger and plate under the top cover that can be adjusted for different length pellets. It sits just about where it says 5.5 on the side of it. You’ll need to remove the top cover to access it though.
