AEA If your zeus .72 leaks air from the barrel...

Shoot it! My zeus dumped all it's air. I called Bin and he was like "shoot it and let me know". I shot it, and I guess that closed the valve all the way and fixed the issue. I found similar suggestions for other guns but nothing specifically about the Zeus. So try that if you're dumping air...

Seneca/Sam Yang Desperate need of an effective arrow target that my .45 909 won't blow through

That's awesome. I've never seen a no speed limit target! I think I need one of these.

Seneca/Sam Yang Desperate need of an effective arrow target that my .45 909 won't blow through

My air bolts from the dragon claw went right through the yellow jacket targets also. If you can get a couple hay bales behind it or stack multiple yellow jacket traps in a row you can stop it. For the fletching an arrow fletching jig some rubber cement and some blazer vanes are all you need...

I definitely noticed with my t9 that the more I used it the less buggy it got.

    Favorite lightweight AR stock

I agree. I actually like the non cnc regular aea stock.

    AEA Bintac T9

No instructions. I'm guessing that screw in piece might be a place to install some kind of catch or magnet for a future folding stock to anchor to.

    AEA Bintac T9

I only fill it to 275bar. I get 2 mags before I have to refill the air. That seems to have helped a lot. I've also had the loud report then a quiet one. Not sure why though. I also get the bolt not going back all the way, that's usually when it's crushed a pellet sideways in the magazine...

    AEA Bintac T9

It seems like the magazine rotates too fast so the bolt pinches the side of the pellet instead of hitting it dead center. Maybe a weaker spring in the magazine would help. Maybe that's why mine started shooting better, the spring relaxed a little bit after the mag breaks in.

    Favorite lightweight AR stock

I have the magpul CTR on my M50 with a UTG mil spec adjustable buffer tube and the texoma precision fixed stock adapter. It works well.

What Do You Use For Backstop?

I also like log rounds as back stops, they will stop anything usually. I also use 66% IPSC targets with about 6" of compressed cardboard in front. The cardboard slows down pellets good and keeps lead fragments from going all over, and cuts down on the sound. I'll be looking for some of the...

What Airgun do you have that you would never get rid of for any reason?

My XP .72 pistol will never ever be sold. One of the most solid, high quality, incredible guns I have ever seen. The attention to detail in every part of the gun is top notch. When it runs out of air it can be used as a club to finish the boar off. :D

    Airforce Texan 308 “Blemished” purchase

Lol, no worries. :) It was for sale in the Airforce Outlet. All they have now is red and blue condors and escapes. I guess Airforce has pretty decent QC before it goes into the box. They have always been really friendly and answer questions fast, at least in my own experiences with them.

    Airforce Texan 308 “Blemished” purchase

But I bought it from Airforce guns. I don't know why the people who make the rifle would lie about it being used, seems like bad business.

    Airforce Texan 308 “Blemished” purchase

This is a photo of another texan I have that's been used. That part of the bolt that scrapes doesn't turn black as its used, it gets scraped down to bare metal. My guess is there was uncured cerakote inside the receiver when they put the bolt in and it rubbed off on the bolt.

    Pellet Sorting results (Again)

I was just weighing JSB .35 cal diabolo pellets. Most were even at 80 grains. Tin says 81.02. A bunch were also 80.1 to 80.7, with only a few at 81gr. I expected better from JSB! :) maybe they settle like potato chips and decrease in size during shipping lol

Seneca/Sam Yang What broadheads are you using with the dragon claw

I agree with c_m_shooter. Use a solid broadhead, the dragon claw gets those bolts moving fast. I have some G5 montec broadheads that are made from solid metal and I've shot a lot of stuff with them, can be sharpened and hold together with lots of abuse. Most important they tend to fly straight...

Other Serpent Arms 28ga kills serpents!

they nailed the weight of this thing. I think it's so light they could have easily added another 2 inches of barrel and a choke adapter. Zeus 72 shell on the left, 28ga shell on the right.

Other Serpent Arms 28ga kills serpents!

This is what happened to an old laptop when I shot it with the 28ga using 4 pellets of 00 leadfrom 15ft only 1 pellet hit the laptop. That was because I had to pull the trigger so hard I moved off target. Same laptop after a load from smoothbore .72 zeus with 00 lead: Kinda different! :D
