    JTS JTS Airacuda Standard Issues

I did notice my valve spring digging into my replacement poppet, so that washer is a nice tweak.

    JTS JTS Airacuda Standard Issues

.22 Airacuda Standard. Here's a pic of mine. FWIW, the valve adjustment on mine was at a 12mm depth. I saw Travis's and Ian's videos about 15-18mm depth on the Max versions. I don't know what the factory setting is for the Standard, or if it matters as much because it's not regulated.

    JTS JTS Airacuda Standard Issues

My son is was shooting it and it made a burping/farting noise, almost like a whoopy cushion. It still had air in it and stopped firing.

    JTS JTS Airacuda Standard Issues

My .22 had a broken poppet after about a year, maybe 3000 rounds. I called them up and they sent me a warranty replacement poppet (I made my own to get by while I waited). No ping on mine, but the valve strike is louder than the report. I have not tried a moderator so cannot comment on...

Umarex benjimin gunner vs umarex zelos

Negative, the Gunnar has a regulator, although it is not externally adjustable. The bottle valve lets you pull the bottle before you degas, so you don't lose that much air if you need to play with the reg. The Gunnar's hammer spring is not adjustable, but the rifle has the adjustable transfer...

    Pellet Trap

I googled it and it says it's limited to 12 ft lbs. What's your output? For a low power basement tune it should work. I used to shoot a similar style Marksman target in my basement with my pumpers and CO2 pistols and it held up fine.

    Midwest Gun Works?

Yes, I've bought firearms parts and accessories from them. They've grown quite a bit over the past few years. I didn't have any issues and they are price competitive.

N/A A PCP will last as long as its weakest o'ring

I have a rifle out of action with a broken poppet. At least I can source O-rings easily.

    benjamin Gunnar Butt Stock issue

I know Benjamin markets them as such, but my Gunnar's tube measures fatter than mil spec, and thinner than a commercial spec. This was a gun I picked up directly from Benjamin in December. Maybe Reximex had different suppliers for different runs. The military spec receiver extension...

    benjamin Gunnar Butt Stock issue

I put strips of tape on the tube and it helped, though there is still a bit of wiggle. If you buy a new stock, you'll probably need a new buffer tube because the factory tubes are not mil-spec diameter, they are closer to the commercial tube diameter. I really don't know if man companies make...

My cat blew up my compressor

The GX series also have a removable power cord. So if unplugging it at the receptacle is a hassle ( like it's behind a cabinet) then they are easy enough to unplug at the compressor end. Unplugging it will most definitely prevent inadvertent starts.

    GX Compressor Longevity

I use Super Lube synthetic grease. I also use it in the gear box.

    O ring multi kit

Olypsys https://www.theoringstore.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=345 The O-ring store has a grid you can download and print to use with the Olypsis app, or you can order a better grid from them for $10. I used the downloadable one to double check my measurements, and I also ordered...

    Ultra Sonic cleaner

I have a cheap small one from Harbor Freight that works well enough for me. Its big enough to hold a bolt carrier group from an AR or a disassembled pistol, though most of the time I just submerge glass jars of small parts (saves on solvent). I was worried a bigger unit would fracture some of...

Benjamin Gunnar listed on PA now.

I read that Airgun Revisions has some Reximex parts, don't know if it includes the Gunnar or just the Craftsman Series but it's worth contacting him. What do you need to know? I have had mine apart before. Also there is a thread on the Gateway to Air forum that shows the internals.

Same thing happens to me when I use a clamp-on chronometer, and for free floated barrels/shrouds the slightest bit of cant and magnify how much the assembly deflects and really throw off the windage.

    N/A Working on springers

For me the trickiest part of springers is trying hard to not cut or nick the piston seals on all of the sharp edges. We used to use cut up aluminum to bridge teh slots, but since 3D printing is so common now it'd be worth while to make a custom slot filler, kind of like what folks are doing...

Benjamin Benjamin Maurader .22 Bolt Uncocking Resistance

A firearm cock-on-open bolt (like a Mauser style) has angled surfaces that cam the cocking piece open and compress the striker spring when you lift the bolt handle. Inclined plane simple machine. For a Mauser you almost need to slap the bolt handle up to unlock and cock the action, after that...
