The Stock FX Pellet probe, though more restrictive, has a square face to push against...

You might try going back to the stock Pellet probe also. I was seeing some irregularities in my shot group and swapped back to the original.

For the 40 gr altaros slugs try 150 bar, 3.5 Micro, 13 pw = ~956 fps

13.2 gr hammer from a Crown Slug kit. works a champ. the stock Dynamic hammer is 12gr. I haven't tried the Javelins, because I don't have any. I understand about the slugs. I think if the slugs are .217 and you find the FPS they work in you will be happy. The H&N work well above 1000 FPS...

I am no expert. Honestly when I received my Dynamic the pw was set to 19. I have always went back to that setting as my base and work from there. I am sure it's not right it's just what I do.

I have a .22 700mm dynamic. I have added a 13.2gr hammer. I am pushing 31gr Altaros at 1040 with the following settings: Regulator - 150 bar Macro - 19 Micro - 3

I have a dynamic double .22 with 700mm barrel. It's pretty much Shoot, clean.. repeat. I have been tweeking it get what I want out of it. But straight out of the box it was outstanding.
