FX Impact M3 Tuning Advice (inconsistency)

...letting the gun sit for a few days and the first 20 shots of the day on it. The low first shots were due to a little reg creep but it took a little while before it leveled off. It’s definitely not tuned to perfection as this is my first PCP and first tune attempt. That’s why I came here for...

FX Impact M3 slug or pellet port?

...piston and adjust screw. Is there a video or instructions on the how to steps for that? I’m relatively new to the PCP world and this is my first PCP. I dialed in my pressures and hammer and valve adjuster and it shoots fantastic. I just didn’t know if there were benefits to using the pellet...

N/A First PCP - FX Impact M4 or Skout EVO?

I am new to the airgun world and I am looking into benchrest and then possibly PMC/PRS. I am pulling my hair out trying to decide on a proper gun. I keep going back and forth between the FX Impact M4 and the Skout Evo. Adding in more complexity is caliber..... From what I have seen looking at...

What is everyone seeing for age of airgunners lately including yourself.

I got two nephews (7 and 9). They both love shooting airguns. I myself didn’t get into it until last year. Looking to purchase my first pcp here shortly.

Umarex Talk me out of a Umarex Gauntlet 2 sl30

...SL .30 is long and unwieldy if you're not going to be doing stalking or running and gunning it's a good platform for the money. My first PCP was a gauntlet .25 and that was poop to shoot, BUT it shot great. Took about 2k shots for the bolt to finally "smooth" itself. The SL30 is miles ahead...

    Umarex New Umarex PCP owner

Hey Bob, I just ordered my first PCP, too. I also looked at the Notos but got a gauntlet 2 in .22 caliber instead. The Notos is a good choice, I would like to hear your thoughts about it after you get a chance to shoot it for a bit. Harry

As a dealer I want tell you the biggest hurdle people have with PCP's

...can deduct that the working pressures might sound high but there are literally thousands and thousands of these bottles and they are not blowing up and taking out households. The cost? Think back to your first PCP gun and tell me the cost of that first tank didn’t set you back on your heels a...

    N/A Air Max ?

Excellent pistol! The “air max” was the first brand for that pistol AKA Artemis pp700. It’s similar to a Kalibrgun Ocelot. IMO it’s the best bang for your buck in the pcp world.

    N/A observation

All pcp guys should master the springers first. The skills associated with the springers will diffently help with your pcp shooting. Both of these types of mechanisms are just different tools for different situations. Enjoy both, not necessary to make one better than the other. Imo

FX FX Maverick as 1st PCP?

...airgun was a Gamo Big Cat 1400. I bought it years ago and still have it. But now PCPs have caught my eye. So now I'm looking to get my first PCP and have made my way over to the FX Maverick. My first choice was the Air Venturi Avenge X. But I've seen some posts about "buy once cry once" and...

What rifles have you bought twice?

My first pcp was the benjamin marauder rifle. It was what got me into pcp. It's quiet and accurate. Then came the marauder pistol and I had to get it. I guess it doesn't count as getting buying the same gun twice. But I consider the marauder rifle and pistol as same gun just different size or form.

Air Venturi Avenger made a loud pop and leaked all the air.

Every pcp made will leak at some point no matter the price point. Learning how to get inside the guns to change orings is part of the hobby.

    Your 1st PCP

How much was a FX Royle 400 back in 2009? I can’t even remember close to how much they were. Great first PCP IMO and wish I still had it.
