N/A New to the pcp world!

I just got my first PCP a air venturi avenger and it is a tack driver. I think i have the cx g3 compressor which works good and a Westhunter 4-16x44ffp and it seems to be good. Also have a vector veryon sfp 3-12 (not Here yet) and a veyron 3-12x44 ffp its ok but i was shooting it in a house with...

To PCP or Not PCP…. That is the question

If you plan to use a scope than a PCP would be the best option. For a starter rifle a springer is more forgive of abuse and would be my first choice for a youth.

Looking at buying my first PCP

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a compact PCP, that would be used to take small game. I've looked at the Hatsan jet, was wondering if anyone has one, and are there any issues with them? I also need a recommendation for a airgun compressor. I seen the yong heng is recommended frequently...

Umarex 3rd Zelos has Issues. Anyone else having issues??

Yea luckily this isn’t my first airgun. Imagine buying your first pcp and having this happen. Might never buy another and miss out on an awesome hobby.

    Practice

Until I got into PCP airguns, I only shot open sights. Once I got a PCP, I pretty much was stuck with using a scope. It was novel at first, but I eventually grew to miss open sights enough that I outfitted my Marauder with an aperture sight. I love shooting that gun offhand and practice...

    N/A Switching to PCP

You didn't do your homework, and bought a poopty spring gun. And your wants for a first timer w/pcp aren't completely realistic either. Having said that, a Marauder is your best bet. Airgun Revisions has some great deals on refurbs at the moment - Go to airgunrevisions.com and check out the...

    FX First PCP Rifle

Hello everyone and thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I’m pretty excited to get going with my first real air rifle. My last one was a pump daisy about 30 years ago 😂. It’s an Impact in .22 (600mm). I am told I will most likely need a heavy slug liner to shoot slugs well, but I want to...

Felons, how about saving your enthusiasm for PCP guns for the local watering hole? Do not advertise to your fellow felons how unregulated the world of PCP is, your access to them will be cut off first. 99.9% of the members here are not felons, yet our majority would be quite unlikely to support...

I (ashamedly) own a Crosman 3622. questions on modifications

@Gibsonvair I subscribed to this post to see how your accuracy improvement project progresses as a guide for resolving any that might come up with my new 3622, which is my first PCP.

Coming full circle with my choices

My first PCP was a Gamo Urban and a hand pump, my subsequent four PCPs were all hand pumpable. When I purchased my first bottle gun, a Bantam Sniper HR, an SCBA was necessary and then a HPA compressor. My bottle guns (Ghost Carbine and Pathfinder) are useless to me without a HPA compressor. My...

    N/A ??????????? P-rod or 1701

Prod was my first PCP and I still have it. Never had any accuracy problems with it or a flier problem. Very solid gun! It was my main squeeze for many years before going down the rabbit hole. I would buy another if I didn’t already have one! 👍🏼

.30 FX Crown MKii Cal change

I have just bought a .30 cal change kit for my Crown MKii. This being my first .30 cal, I am wondering what pellets/slugs work out good for you guys. I have several other PCP's in .22 and .25 not to mention my big girls in .457

    What first caught your fancy?

My first PCP was great, an early FX Royale 22 unregulated. I wish I had it still. The walnut stock fit me like a glove. This Atomic is perfect for everything I NEED an air rifle to do.

FX FX M3 22 my first PCP

An Impact might not be the best choice for a first time PCP, especially one that is used.

N/A Least problematic air rifle brand for newbies

Mine was a Talon P. Airforce guns make an ideal first pcp based on my own experience.

Umarex 3rd Zelos has Issues. Anyone else having issues??

My first shot was exactly the same, I looked at the moderator thinking nothing came out. Walked to my target and yupper, there was a hole. I was hooked.

N/A A PCP will last as long as its weakest o'ring

I am doing research, usually related to the performance of the airgun. Maintaining a PCP and changing o'rings is not mentioned very much.

What rifles have you bought twice?

I’ve thought about buying a Royale 400 22cal, I still might. That was my first PCP. I have very fond memories. I’m just scared that it doesn’t live up to what I remember. But I think it would.

Other Have to pick one of these: Veteran , Lelya , Leshiy Classic

...to 1 pcp. The Leshiy Classic. I still want to try the Leshiy L2, but for the most part I'm done trying and buying pcps. I will miss the Taipan Vet 1, the first pcp. Yeah, couple of tears ... weird indeed. Thanks to everyone who has put up with me on the AN forum, including the...
