i have owned the original and it was an outstanding deer hunter !! the carbine has just about the same power but much shorter and lighter. plus no blowing air in your face anymore, which i didnt experience because i'm a lefty. hunted with it a full season and took several whitetail and hogs.

i have owned about all the Eastern EU guns, i cant say anything bad about any of them. my favorite of all is my 3 year old U1 .30 that DW has power tuned and maintained since new. its an awesome hunter.... (y)
That is a shamed, discovery scopes have been good to me over the years. Models HS & HD, i have about 3 of each and never any problems.... would not take a WH in return !!
my only airgun cast is for the lyman 405gr RNFP in .458 and sized to .457 for my piledriver which is an awesome deer rifle @ 720FPE !! i have had about all the others and none compare to the piledriver for reliability, accuracy and consistency. :sneaky:
the DNT Zulus non/LRF does wonders for me pesting at night on farm critters, and rats play a major role in my feed storage barns. thermal is nice, but you really dont need it if you can get within 30yrds. my rats get big here...... :sneaky:
