So China wins the First Gold Medal. And it was in the 10 Meter Air Gun Competition. Think they were shooting FX? :ROFLMAO: https://www.fox32chicago.com/sports/china-wins-first-gold-medal-2024-olympics-mixed-team-air-rifle-shooting?link_source=ta_first_comment&taid=66a544df17515e0001dcd64e

    FX First PCP Rifle

Hello everyone and thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I’m pretty excited to get going with my first real air rifle. My last one was a pump daisy about 30 years ago 😂. It’s an Impact in .22 (600mm). I am told I will most likely need a heavy slug liner to shoot slugs well, but I want to...

    Benjamin Bought a P-Rod Carbine

I tried a polish job and tuning the trigger, the first stage was always too heavy and short for my liking, I could tune it nicely as a single stage, but much prefer a 2 stage like all my other air rifles

    Skout Skout EVO First Impression

I didn't say who was the first to make a barrel in a pressurized air tank, but that with that FX eliminated the problem of their thin liners, and that it wasn't the Chinese Snowpeak that did it first, but the Altaros m24, only that they weren't able to produce that rifle before😉 We won't pollute...

Is there anything in between the Zelos and the Impact m4?

Granted the Karma isn't a true "bottle", but atleast it has a 300bar 500cc capacity. Will be easy to swap a CF bottle on though. I've already ordered a 52mm picitinny mount for the air cylinder, that way I can slap the bipod on for my first shot 😂 You can preorder the M60 .25 bottle...

    Air Gun Companies Copying FX?

This is from ChatGPT. The first airgun company to come up with the bullpup format is generally credited to the British manufacturer Daystate. Daystate released the first commercially available bullpup air rifle, the Daystate Huntsman Bullpup, in the 1980s. This design set a precedent for many...

N/A What do you advise? Brands.

AOA is great I bought my first 3 "adult" air rifles from them.

Tuning FX Impact Mk2/M3 - slower first shot - no reg creep - quasi-scientific analysis

What you describe is characteristic of many air rifles. After sitting, it takes 3-5 shots for them to loosen up. Just shoot the first ones in the dirt. Even rimfire rifles have a cold shot problem. Don't worry about it.

    Restoring plastic stocks

I haven't worked on repairing/restoring the first one yet,and now I have a couple more air rifles with scratched plastic stocks. I really need now to figure out how to proceed.

    Hatsan The “0” Ring Wiggle

Yea. I knew something was up when velocities were low and I could feel “poof” of air shooting prone.

    Go Gun com

Well I ordered from them, & my order seems to indeed becoming from Florida. That a first for me, but they seem to offer more than air gun stuff. I normally order through air gun dealers I,m know of, but they had the best price. I was looking at the air rifles they carried & never heard of...

    Kalibrgun Snipe issues

So the moral of the story Is...Never buy a first addition air rifle . The first addition was a piss poor design . If I dont slam that cocking lever home I still have the same problem . Anyway at least they learned from their mistakes .

    MROD Strikes again

MROD Synthetic in .22 was my first PCP rifle. I bought it in 2018. Very accurate, loves cheap CPHPs. I've yet to change an o-ring and it still holds air perfectly. Great gun!!

    Antique models? Post pics

The BSA Mk1 Meteors were much nicer than the later marks. THE first air rifle to come with scope mount dovetails in 1959

    Advice Needed

Hello, ladies and gents. First time poster here. I need some advice. I'm new to air rifles and was looking for a quiet backyard shooter that is capable of killing squirrels. Damn critters are constantly digging through my garden. I live in a residential area, so it's very important that the...

    What first caught your fancy?

My first PCP was great, an early FX Royale 22 unregulated. I wish I had it still. The walnut stock fit me like a glove. This Atomic is perfect for everything I NEED an air rifle to do.

    FYI cost

What is the minimum cost of getting completive in Air Rifle target shooting. Let's look at BR first, what rifle, scope, rests, pellets will get you in the top 20%?
