I purchased the modular silencer from Buck-Rail. It is made of Nylon, I presume on his new machines. It can be taken apart and cleaned. The nylon material should be very tough. I have broken one of the old style silencers ( I glued it back together) Terry has replaced any broken pieces or he...
UPDATE on 3622 performance. I was able to get three 30 shot strings with most of them on paper at 23 and 30 yards. Here are my results. All from a 2,000 PSI fill: 23 yards, shots 8-28 on a single target. 23 yards, shots 5-25 on a single target (scope...
My best pellet sizer is the choke in the barrel. That being said, pellet selection does make a difference. My choked barrels are less pellet picky. They are also a little slower than non choked versions. Baker Airguns sells some nice pellet gauges.
I got a 2028 and immediately put the Buck-Rail tactical kit on it. I need to go back and see if I can wring a little more accuracy out of that one. A little spring work and the trigger was great! That particular optic is junk.
I was very relieved to get those tight groups since previous efforts had failed. I tried the JTS pellets on my 362 and they were a no-go.:( I may re-crown the barrel on that one also.
I just checked my chronograph results with the JSB 14.35 grain pellets. Oddly, they make 2 ft/lbs more energy across the board than the JTS 16.08 and about 100 FPS more velocity. They are not accurate enough for me in the 3622 rifle, so JTS 16.08 it is for me..
Well, after a few days, I received a Chinese aluminum breech that was ordered from E-Bay It saves 128 grams over the Crosman steel breech. The Crosman weighs 196 grams and the Chinese one weighs 68 grams. The rifle scoped and suppressed weighs...
With the long steel breech and Williams WGRS-54 rear peep, the rifle now weighs 4lbs. 2.8 oz. I hope to lighten it a few ounces with an aluminum breech as soon as my part comes from China. I plan on making a fine (.040") fiber optic front sight from the Buck-Rail silencer adaptor that has the...
I will share my experience with the 3622. Unfortunately I will be watching four of my grand children, all under six years old for the next few days. Not conducive to airgun testing and tuning. It may be a few days till I can tell anything. Right now, cans at 25 yards aren't a problem. It's that...
Hopefully, this helps someone. This is the Williams WGRS-54 rear peep on a steel breech and the cut-out from the rear stock, for the hammer spring adjustment, I just used a round file to get the shape.
Well, I stole a steel breech from another gun and mounted my little Williams WGRS peep. It was too high for the original/modified fiber optic front sight, but grouped well at 68feet with 14.35 JSB pellets. maybe 1/2 -3/4" group. I swapped to another homemade crosshair front globe and pulled a...
I am also curious if this has the Lothar Walther barrel and how you like the rifle either way. I am two and a half years into this hobby and find it fascinating! Nice work on the front sight!
