I have the Element Max. I see you said you backed off the hammer spring in your AEA. Does your gun have an adjustment to do that or did you modify the spring? I have been considering working on my spring to get more evenly powered shots.

Most PCP guns require more air to shoot continuously than you will be able to supply with your bottles. I would suggest you get a compressor for this. Something like a GX-cs3 would work well and is fairly inexpensive.

I disassembled my AEA Element because of a leak in the fill port. Very easy to take apart, but was surprised to find the sealing rings to be square bodied instead of the usual round I am accustomed to. Is it possible that these rings are meant to be square. Has anyone else seen this?

Why would loosening barrel screws cause an alignment problem? You are tightening against machined surfaces.
