I just go to my local Staples, They have a UPS shipping counter usually maned by some kid that couldn't care less. They take it, throw it on the pile, and say have a nice day.
I just ordered a M60B in .177 from Wes today. He has a few .177 cal in stock, .22 & .25 are preorder only. He said he will go over everthing to make sure it's set up properly and ready to go. Hoping to see it next week. At some point I will probably order a .22 cal conversion kit for it...
It's all a delicate dance between pressure, hammer spring, port size and pellet weight. Change any one thing, and it affects the result. Plus, if you have an inconsistent regulator, it can get very frustrating.
I could never understand the hype around H&N, slugs or pellets. Never could get them to shoot worth a darn. Wasted a lot money trying different types and weights.
If he's not a fix it yourself kind of guy, he shouldn't have bought a PCP to begin with. Sooner or later they all need fixed. I would have told him to go pound sand.
