Traditional Rifle WTB - HW97 KT - Full Power

Looking to buy a Weihrauch HW97 KT. Leaning towards 177 with the synthetic stock but open to wood stock if the price is reasonable. Thought I’d check here before buying new from Krale. Thanks.

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

A few things: I did buy the RWS 1 Piece Droop Mount. I mounted it as instructed and used both stop pins. The scoped zeroed nicely with minimal elevation and windage adjustments (Less than 1/2 a turn on the dials). The gun shot very accurately for about two weeks…and then it didn’t. The mount was...

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

I’m open to any suggestions you may have. I’m new to airguns but eager to learn. The D34 has been very accurate for me. I’ve taken out a good number of rabbits and squirrels, many with just the iron sights. I know this thread has gotten long but I think I’ve documented most of my findings over...

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

I was thinking about removing the scope to shoot a few grouping with just the iron sights. That should tell me if it’s the gun or the scope. Thoughts on that logic?

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

Status Update: Something is going on with my D34. A few weeks back I mounted a Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 AO Mil-Dot scope with a RWS 1-Piece Droop Mount. I zeroed in the setup and shot a few dime-sized groupings at 30 yards. I was dropping squirrels with headshots…life was good. Two days ago I...

Diana Diana 34 T01 Tune Kit Recommendations

I found those videos last night. They are SUPER helpful. Are you the Pellets & Pistons host? It sounds like the seals are not part of the tuning kit? Is that right?

Are there any tuner shops in Minnesota or the Midwest?

Diana Diana 34 T01 Tune Kit Recommendations

Is this the “old school” kit you are referring to? https://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/catalog/item/251488/7512885.htm I noticed my D34 has a a grinding sound as I approach the final 1/3 of the cocking stroke. Is that normal? I also noticed my main spring is bone dry. Should I try lubing my...

Diana Diana 34 T01 Tune Kit Recommendations

I’m not afraid of DYI work, but I also know there’s value in the expertise of the pros. That’s why I’d like to know the costs involved. I’ll try to reach out to Motörhead to learn more about having it tuned. I’m still open to tune kit recommendations if others want to chime in.

Diana Diana 34 T01 Tune Kit Recommendations

My 1998 Diana 34 T01 is coming along. My next question is about tuning kits. I’m completely new to this hobby so I’m still learning. I’ve read serval posts about “tuning kits“. It is my understanding that these kits reduce the “twang” of stock springs and improve the FPS consistency, resulting...

Diana Diana 34 T01 Trigger Adjustments

Thanks to good advice from AGN, I’ve made some nice improvements to my Diana Model 34 (circa 1998) rifle. My next question is about the trigger. I have no experience to base this on, but it feels like my 2nd stage takes a lot of force to fire. Based on the age of my gun I believe it has a T01...

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

UPDATE: The Hawke Vantage scope is mounted and zeroed in at 30 yards. I shimmed the rear ring with two layers of soda can and dialed the elevation 1-2/3 turns up. Hopefully that’s not too much. The windage is set a 1/3 turn to the left. Not sure if I’m using the proper terms, so hopefully you...

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

My Hawke 3-9x40 AO scope arrived today! I also ordered a Dovetail-to-Picatinny mount and Hawke double-screw rings. There have been a few comments concerning the RWS droop mounts. I’m not necessarily trying to start restart a big debate, but should I move forward with what I’ve got, or return the...

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

I see what you’re saying now with Wildcatter’s stock. Very interesting. I’ve been assuming my 1998 D34 was a significantly different design than the more modern D34s, but it’s really just the stock length that’s different. Thats good to know.

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

I’ve decided to wait for my new scope to arrive before I do any barrel bending. The primary reason I’m considering the barrel bending approach is because my barrel is pointing left out of the breech block. Perhaps the scopes adjustments will compensate for this? I’ll keep the group posted.

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

Beautiful! Please let me know which adjustable I believe the shorter forestocks were part of the earlier design. My D34 has definitely not been modified…it’s just the stock design from 1998.

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

I'm prepping for a barrel bend but have a question... Can I disconnect the barrel & breach block assembly from the spring cylinder without having to disassemble the entire spring system? I’ve watched several Diana 34 assembly videos but they all disassemble the spring system. I’m hoping to...

Diana Is my Diana 34 worthy of a scope?

I took a straight edge to the barrel itself. It appears to be perfectly straight. The issue is the barrel is pointing to the left directly out of the “block” portion of the barrel. I don’t know the proper part names yet…the breech maybe? Anyhow, see picture of me pointing at it. 😂 If I did...

I’m planning to bend the barrel before the scope gets here. YouTube makes it look easy! 😉
