    Lead Recovery Advice

I recommend making a pellet trap out of a metal electrical breaker box from Home Depot, filled with Duct Seal from the same electrical department! Mine takes 195 fpe from 12 yards away on the regular and I repack after each target change. Whenever it gets too heavy I dig out and recycle the...

N/A Who's Casting or Wants to Learn?

That is normal from my research. Most molds drop slugs oversized, then you size back down to your desired diameter. Plus everything depends on the lead Mixture too, pure lead vs. a mix with tin, etc. For example if I were have bought a .357/38 special mold, they would probably drop at .359 or...

N/A Who's Casting or Wants to Learn?

I just started casting my own slugs for my Bulldog, and I am getting decent results. Recycling lead from my ductseal pellet trap makes it possible to never run out of ammo now. I am not even sizing because they drop at .358 using a .356/9mm Lee 125grain mold. Using a bottom pour Lee melting...

Benjamin Stripped Shroud Screw on Benjamin Bulldog M357

It may have been stripped from factory because they use power tools to install most likely. The torque just rounded the hex, and yes he is correct only the rear screw actually keeps the shroud secure to it's mount, the front screws just hold on the end cap and or picatinny.

    Magnum M357 Bulldog

First video of the "m357" on youtube. But this guy was miss quoting the stats of the gun, he had a chronograph but did not show the numbers... not an airgunner so he was filling with a pump! which would make you not want to fill it up all the way, or shoot enough to get real information for testing.

Is Benjamin too late to the party coming out with a .257 Bulldog?

They also updated the .357 model... saying that it will now produce "300fpe" and shoot 1135fps! Which in my opinion will be too fast to be shooting the 81 grain JSB (which the current Bulldog loves around 950fps). So the new .357 will have enough power to meet 215fpe Texas hunting Minimum...

    Why headshots

I have recently tested those 68gn Hybrids out of my Bulldog, not the most accurate at my current tune level. 2-3" group @ 50 yards shooting 1010fps for 154fpe. I suspect If tuned below 950fps they would be more accurate out of my gun. But as far as performance as a Hollow point... WOW! just...

Thanks, To be Fair I cherry picked that group! And I was shooting on an non-level bench with ear pro, glasses and a shaky chair at the range... If I was shooting prone in grass with NO glasses, or ear pro, with people bothering me... I know she can do better. Here is a pic with JSB,NSA,and the...
