    scope sighting is off

I have checked my scope with the mirror method and my crosshair image is about a third of the way from center to the outside rim. Is it beneficial to center the scope, use adjustable scope mount (or shims) to get the POI as close as possible, then fine tune with the turrets? Would that help my...

    scope sighting is off

My scope info says crank the windage all the way one way to the end. Crank it all the way the other way to the end while counting the turns. Go back the other way half the number of turns. Do the same for elevation. Is this also an acceptable way to find optical center?

    Is the Dreamline reliable? Good?

Is the POI shifting problem solved with the Dreamline Classic? Also, does it suffer with "sticktion" or the first few shots at a lower fps then its shoots great, etc. which we hear a lot of with the FX airguns.

Hill mk4 hand pump converted to hand booster pump

I have to advise caution with this booster set up. The dessicant housing may not be designed to handle pressure. Pressurizing same could result in the housing failure that could send fragments throughout your garage at high velosity.

    Adjustable Objective Scope Calibration

Thank you all for your replies. Yes I have adjusted my eyepiece. So when calibrating, it doesn't seem like focus alone is accurate enough. Should I clamp the gun and put a tape measure at the distance and adjust for minimum cross hair movement at that distance?

    Adjustable Objective Scope Calibration

Do you guys calibrate your AO Scope dials? I was shooting at 30 yards today with my Hawk Vantage Side Focus AO Scope set at 30 yards. I was using my Caldwell Lead Sled for target practice at my normal squirrel target range. The reason I ask this is that with my Airgun in the lead sled with...

    "HOT" bore groups opening up

I think what Aaron says is real and it seems like no one is on board with that. I am trying to confirm my findings. I shot yesterday morning and shot was right on. I shot this am and shot was right on. I shot this afternoon to see if it is temp related due it is 60's in am and 90 F now and...

    "HOT" bore groups opening up

I believe I am seeing the same thing with my Marauder. I have Gen 2 synrod .22 cal. with original equipment. ( no reg, factory valve, etc., LW barrel) I have been agonizing over 5/8" groups at 25 yds. I am shooting thru a Crony and have good consistent velosities with these groups. I finally...

Benjamin Question about Marauder Bolt lubrication for smoother cocking

I disassembled and finished polishing everything I could that makes contact or slides, etc. I used Moly EP grease on the bolt and very small amounts there the allen head cocking bolts slide in their slots. I tried minute amount of Moly EP in the hammer tube but at lease with my finger it felt...

Benjamin Question about Marauder Bolt lubrication for smoother cocking

Thanks for the replies. For some reason or other I was under the impression to leave the hammer and tube dry. I have deburred/polished out all the sharp edges of the slots and polished the tube and hammer but I didn't add lubricant. I will take it apart again plus polish the allen head...

Benjamin Question about Marauder Bolt lubrication for smoother cocking

The allen head cap screws in the hammer and bolt are not loose. I clean and use blue locktite during assembly. Seems to be dragging. Moly paste is grease right? I've only tried moly powder dry lube.

Benjamin Question about Marauder Bolt lubrication for smoother cocking

I like my .22 Cal. Marauder Gen 2 Synthetic Stock air rifle and I am trying to keep it as stock as possible. Recently my bolt just tougher to cock. I did search around and look into it. I took it apart, polished the bolt, polished the tube the hammer slides in, took all the edges off the...

FX DRS Classic for Pre Order

In the section of the manual shown above. Could someone help me understand the Notice "Do not adjust the regulator above 180 bar" because damage could occur? Does this damage the regulator or are downstream parts unable to handle higher pressure? Also, the Warning "do not shoot the gun below...

N/A new backyard pcp rifle under 500

Congratulations. I'm glad you're Liking your new Marauder. One question about the scope, is the knob on the left side of the eyepiece for adjusting power? I've never seen one like that. Just curious.

FX New FX DRS Classic, Pro, and "LIGHT" ?

I really don't need to know the plenum pressure as long as the gun is grouping well consistently but as soon as there is an issue, seems like that is the first thing I need to know. I'm ok with one gauge but I wish it was plenum pressure. I can determine reservoir pressure as soon as I connect...
