    I agree. The funny thing is that I thought Sheridan might have learned a lesson in 1971 with their early scope intermount. It used six screws that were often over-tightened by users , thus separating the breach from the tube.

    This sight must be removed as it WILL separate the barrel from the pump tube, I have seen this on dozens of them that I have restored. If I don't install a peep-sight or a scope I simply epoxy the open sight where it belongs It is esy to remove if needed just carefully apply heat to break the...
