I acquired this gun about 15 years ago from my nephew when he lost interest in rebuilding it. It got misplaced in a storage tote and went missing until recently. The stock is in bad shape, but the gun appears to be in decent shape otherwise. I am interested in finding out when it was produced...

I learned to shoot straight with one of those. I gave it to my nephew, and it has been sitting in his gun safe for 25 years. I killed a pile of small game with that rig. I bought it new for $85 CF

I love the fit, finish, and blueing on the AA guns. CF

I bought my 25mm 97 in 1998 and shot it stock until 2015. I put a Vortek kit in it and it remains the most accurate air rifle I own. I beleive my TX 200 will probably keep up with it, just not in my hands. Good shooting!CF

I had one back in 09 and traded it and a Diana 34 for something. It shot straight while I owned it. It had a GRT III trigger in it. I regret getting rid of it. It would have made a good rig for the skiff. CF
