The JSB Jumbos she be good in that gun, but try some CPHP's for plinking, they might surprise you. I have scope settings for both on my PCP's.

I got an adapter stuck on my 48 one time. It was such a precise fit that the burs from the set screws dug into the barrel and would not come off. I had to cut it off with a dremel, $50 lesson learned. I ground down the bottom of the barrel where the set screws go and everything is good now...

Maybe if I explain what I was doing it would make more sense

Yes, sorry I’ve been away for a couple of days. Those shot strings are different power levels. Most are 4 shots on each level. Only used power level 3 on one as it’s so close to P4. My sniper is perfect, no issues and stacks them out to 50 yards.

I only used power level 3 for the FTT numbers, it’s less than .5 fbs and I never use it. The Monster numbers are not in order but you can figure it out. CPHP’s have the same trajectory on power level 2 as the JSB 18’s on power level 4.

The girl from AOA made a video on cant that is much easier to understand, and yes cant is a major issue, when shooting pellet rifles at long distances.

So what was the problem? This post took a left turn with the WD40 guy.

Old UTG True Hunter without the IR. This thing is a tank, has over a thousand shots on it. It even survived the early days before I bent the barrel to optical center, when the right windage adjustment was maxed out with no spring tension on it. It out shoots my HW's now.

It is a very heavy gun, I have a 48 and they are about the same size. Don't get set on a fixed barrel, break barrels are just as accurate.

Take the stock off first. You can get a good look at the beartrap, might be a simple fix.
