Yep, you talked to Newman he was the head tech at FX USA. He also is a Airforce/RAW dealer now. He has a big list of consignment FX rifles too. He repaired my Maverick under warranty with no issues. Great guy to talk to, on top of his mad airsmith skills.

It seems normal for him to not deal with issues, thats what stopped me from making a purchase. A good company is measured how they deal with issues after the sale, anyone can prep it, through it in a box and ship it fast. SPAW is the same way, have a issue…crickets.

I have one of those and it reads within a few fps of my FX.

The FX is what you want, the V1 takes batteries and the V2 is rechargeable. You can rubber band it to your barrel and shoot. Maybe 10 foot to the target is minimum. What rifle are you shooting? FX will shoot faster in the cold, the regulator piston will contract and let more pressure through...

I just bought the Hawke Sidewinder 4-16x50 ffp moa at Camera Land on sale(back ordered though). I hope it works out for me, we’ll see. The Athlon Helos 4-20x50 ffp is on sale to, along with most Athlons.

It’s not made up, metal to metal and silicone don’t mix. Just use gun oil on the threads. I have seen the damage first hand. My Mavericks bottle was getting hard to turn because of this and I caught it before it gulled the threads.

I read a post on here about someone that did oil when filling, but on a tear down they discovered the silicone just stayed near the fill port and did not migrate, vaporize into the gun.

Mine loves the AA/JSB 10.3, the 8.4 not so much.
