Impact 600 or 700 barrel for 300 yd shots with slugs

The farther out you go, the more the wind impacts the slug. The 26gr can get out to 100yards +, but the 34 do it better

Impact 600 or 700 barrel for 300 yd shots with slugs

On a calm day I can get sub MOA with the 26gr at 100yards out of a 600mm doing around 990fps

Impact 600 or 700 barrel for 300 yd shots with slugs

It will work but you will have a really hard time getting your velocity up to the high 900fps. Your shot count will suffer and you will be running the reg maxed out. The 600mm is best with the 26gr to 30gr slugs

Impact 600 or 700 barrel for 300 yd shots with slugs

I shoot my 7 airguns more than my powder burners. Go with the 34gr slugs. You do not have to run the gun as hard. I shoot them out to 200 yards all the time

Impact 600 or 700 barrel for 300 yd shots with slugs

Go 700mm and shoot the 34gr. If you want to shoot the 40gr, the 800mm is your best bet. The 40gr do not work well with the factory mag. The M3 is a good slug gun but not a great one. If you want to shoot the 40gr get a panthera 700

FX FX Panthera compact hunter 177

You need a 8mm hammer. I am able to get the 13g Zans around 950fps at 160 bar

    Element Helix 1500 rangefinder

The one thing I do not like with the app. Is that it does not have a place for altitude input. You always have to recalculate your BC for the change in elevation.

When I zeroed, it was relatively flat. I can try and re-zero to make sure it is completely flat

    Arken zulus hold over error

The BC is good. I have measured it many different ways. The table is correct when it comes to the drop. I have measured this by putting on a regular scope and dialing out to 100 yards. It’s the Zulus calculation that is giving me the wrong holdover point. You can see this from my zero when I...

    Arken zulus hold over error

I tried a new profile and a complete reset of the zulus and still have the same issue. I have gotten a response from the Facebook Zulus group that seems to indicate that Arken knows of a problem.

So are you saying that the numbers on the reticle mean nothing? 1. You can go in to the system setting and then click version. It will tell you the table name 2. Yes it is in the correct setting 3. Yes I have the latest firmware

Good point. I think it would be negated out when you zero

    Arken zulus hold over error

So I have to adjust my scope height all the way down to .5 of an inch to get the holdover mark to be dead center at my 20 yard zero This does not make any sense… also my 103 yard range is still not on the correct mark

    Arken zulus hold over error

I do not think it has anything to do with BC. I could be wrong…. Here is another example. My zero is 20 yards. Yet at 20 yards my aim point is not dead center.

    Arken zulus hold over error

the table is correct. I have reran the numbers in other ballistic calculators and get the same results. I put on my regular scope and have dialed from 20-100 yards with the correct point of impact based on the table data.

    Arken zulus hold over error

It is mounted to a panthera hunter compact, with a 0 MOA mount. Zero is at 20 yards. It is slightly off at other distances and just gets worse the farther out you go.
