What would be recommended if I want to set up a FX DRS .177 for JSB monster 13.43g JSB beast 16.20g Pellet? Those are the heaviest pellets for .177 and I dont know if I should aim for the FX Superior or Superior Heavy liner?

If you do not mind to have 28 shots per fill, the very best alternative for your money is the FX DRS 600 with the super powerful plenum. It is powerful and the accuracy at 200 yards of that rifle with slugs is above every other PCP I know.

So im looking at a FX dreamlite or FX DRS in a Classic 700mm .25. i am looking to hunt ground squirrels and pigeons that have been a nascence at my ranch. i basically want a turn key rifle. i will be dealing with distances no greater then 85 yards. going with .25 cal thanks

There definitely seems to be improvement in efficiency - huge improvement… Just copied this spec sheet from the FX website for the original DRS. Note that the air capacity (260cc) is the same/similar to the new DRS Tactical. However, the DRST boasts shot counts that are near TRIPLE (in .177)...

By my math if you are currently getting 36 shots per fill this tank should get you 9 more shots? That is if 25% more volume Equals 25% more shots.

I can't believe that I have come to this, but I would go with the FX, the slug bug bites deep! Edit: And with that magazine/plenum hanging down, don't waste your money on wood, it's never going to look good anyway. Get the tactical Drs.

If I understand your post correctly, you bought an FX Panthera pcp and a spare FX DRS mini magazine. While they are very similar they are not the same, nor interchangeable. To be more specific: the magazine body itself is the same size but the cover is thicker for the Panthera/King/Dynamic line...
