.25 Wildcat owners help( add moderator or not)

So, which Wildcat do you have? I read elsewhere that the baffles were not stackable on the WC .25, as they are on the WC .22 and the Bobcats.

Steeve, I've got to second Neil's post, the finding that he has linked looks to be quite clear. But it not just the air gunners seem to be confused, even AoA won't ship a silencer by itself to cover their perceived risk. You must ship your gun back for them to actually attach it, so that the...

Four baffles? I will call them cone pieces as they have no baffling. Anyway, I understand, hopefully correctly, that my .25 will not accepts additional pieces, but the .22 will. I haven't done much shooting due to outside temps being in the teens, but will once it gets a bit warmer. I did...

I'm not set up to post pic links. PM your email address and I can send a pic as an attachment. The LDC that Neil made replaces the original two cone pieces. Overall the LDC extends about 7 inches beyond the fill port cap.

I have the .25 and was quite surprised to find the end cap is hollow (with no baffles), and the shroud doesn't serve any sound reducing function. The report is too loud for my fast, but I otherwise love the gun. Thanks to FernLoading's post above, I contacted Neil to have an LDC made. Before...

    My wildcat

No, it shouldn't be loose like that. That said, thank you for posting your vid. I actually want to remove my shroud, but not the barrel.

    Wildcat shroud

See below for an initial answer. I too would like to know, and am hoping we'll get more detail soon. http://airgunnation.dev/topic/if-you-have-a-question-for-fx-post-it-here-and-i-will-try-and-get-it-answered/#post-37795

Here are FX's answers to your questions

Can I get more detailed directions on the shroud removal for the Wildcat .25? Which part of the shroud should be heated? How much? What are the risks of damaging the rifle? Any visuals/video available (AOA has a good video for shroud removal on the Bobcat & Indy)? I did not realize that...
