I had a TM of old that I bought in 2013 built by Martin himself. It sure was one of the best shooting rifles I've ever had. It started life as an FT gun, then I switched it over to 25M BR. It had stellar performance in both arenas.

My compact is a .22 and the VP is a .25. I really don't like swapping barrels. I know it's easy, but you still have to re-tune it in some cases or at least zero it it. I know when I pull the rifle out of the case, it's ready to go as is.

Plano double rifle case. It weighs 8.5 pounds. Add 10.5 pounds for the scoped rifle and it's almost 20. Other cases, like Pelican, are strong, but way too heavy for me.

I just bought a Wolverine R (non HP) in .177. Daystate's website specs indicates that this gun gets 160 shots per fill. I get 60 before it starts falling off. What is your experience? I get more shots (90) from my Revere.

I'd start by slowing them down 10 fps, then 20. If that doesn't work, go in the other direction by small amounts. Pellets like velocity around 860-880.

I've found that the gage on my HM reads 20 bar low compared to the gage on my tank which I think is closer to the actual pressure. So I fill the gun just a tad beyond the 250 bar reading.
